There are some wells at abua/odual area of Rivers State where Shell is also doing their usual nonsense, causing unrest in communities because of their shady activities there. Mr. President please look into that area of the state too and take over.

Why should Abba Kyari sign instead of petroleum minister? Nigerians, none Fulani are in for...

The Shell referred to in this memo is Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria, the Nigerian arm of Royal Dutch Shell.
And who owns the main shell?

Who are the rich?
You can count oil well owners on your fingers.

Well it's better to have an ambiguous tag to them "rich" - but also have a general tag based on the voting pattern and the residences of the area's - for example, why Victoria islands and ikoyi - maitama and asokoro would vote for a fellow bourgeoise like themselves, knowing fully well with the level of education they have that most of the "proposed policies" can't work in a developing nation, riddled with all forms of graft and designer corruption- what baffles me the most is when they know this truth, they prefer a lie - most of those living in those area's above are those that possess these oil blocks, because I know no oil block owner stays in mushin, agege in lagos or mararaba axis in abuja - a N20b economy is being worked out for the poor, they don't want it, because- if it should succeed automatically, they wouldn't get people to lend monies too at cut throat interest rates - for more emphasis, they would rather the poor continue to slave for them, while they "give them food" to eat - to make matters worst, they hand peanuts to them, and believe they are doing them "the under privileged" a favour

I'm from the south. This OML 11 is in my state. Buhari has done really well for taking this move. All oil wells in ogoniland must be resurrected. Ogonis cannot be enjoying the largesse coming from crude oil of the other oil producing communities in Rivers State while saving theirs.

This oil well issue is one factor no one wants an Ogoni governor in Rivers. They don't contribute any oil, not like they don't have but they selfishly decided to close theirs nd hope to use the oil mined from other LGAS to develop Ogoniland.

The main one is an anglo-Dutch company with its headquarters in the Netherlands

No it doesn't at all. This OML11 has not been operated by SPDC for long time now. moreover it is just one oil field within Ogoniland. SPDC has many operated assets currently in Nigeria eg Bonga FPSO. SPDC also has much shares in many other oil fields operated by eg TEPNG, NAOC, NLNG, Adax etc. So they are still a major player in Nigeria. Currently their daily production output is around 600,000bopd (barrel of oil per day)
Meanwhile Nigeria's total output per day is around 2.6 million barrels.

So you can see they are responsible directly for about 25% of our daily production as a country. meanwhile the other 75%, they are also indirectly contributing because they are share holders with most of the other major IOCs operating in Nigeria.

in conclusion, they are still very much committed to business in Nigeria and also to their Corporate Social Responsibilities in naija

nice..you seem to know a lot about this..
do you work with them?

Another dunce.

Abba Kyari is the Chief of Staff. The President doesn't sign most of his letters personally especially with the Ministries and MDAs.

If you have sense, you can see that hes conveying a presidential directive.

The level of ignorance being displayed on this thread is appalling.....

Hmmm....

If Abba Kyari handles the correspondence with MDAs and MINISTRIES does that not make him a Prime Minister?
