Although he has been completely pushed out of PDP in Ogun State, he should be commended.

His action should serve as an example and motivaton to older and accomplished politicians to give space to younger politicians and rather assume advisory role.

Good one OGD.

Dem don dey go... One by one. cheesy

As predicted, 2019 election will retire many politicians who contributed little or nothing to Nigeria in terms of development other than sharing our national cake.
Atiku, Gbenga Daniel, Saraki, OBJ and his fellow generals have finally been retired by the masses who have rejected looting as a career path.
2023 will certainly be present better options for Nigerians.

Wake up son! They are quietly looting nigeria.
One day una go hear say dem don sell nigeria finally. Looting no stop o na coded level

The only meaningful statements on this thread yet. Others are just talking bull crap. From the ones calling him afonja, betrayer and the ones shouting Buhari.

You wonder the level of wisdom and intelligence our average youths have.

Nice one.

BREAKING!!! Atiku’s Campaign DG and ex-Gov, Daniel Resigns From PDP

A former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Igbere TV reports.

In a letter addressed to the National Chairman of PDP, Uche Secondus, the ex-Gov said he was also retiring from ‘active and partisan politics’. The letter was sent to Igbere TV on Saturday.

Daniel, who was the Director General of Atiku Abubakar’s campaign organisation, said the reason for his retirement were “personal”.

“This is to inform you of my intention to resign from active and partisan politics with effect from today, the 14th day of March 2019,” Daniel said in the letter, a copy of which Igbere TV saw on Saturday.

Stating that his resolve in this regard is entirely personal, the former governor said that he plans to give his attention to vocations and endeavours of life.

“My decision in this regard is entirely personal to me and having served in various capacities including as Governor of Ogun State, I have resolved to immerse myself in some other vocations and take some new challenges,” he said in the letter.

BREAD AND BUTTER POLITICIAN WITHOUT IDEOLOGY AND WITHOUT CONSCIENCE.

Fair weather people like Ex-governor Gbenga Daniel can not be taken too seriously.

He is only after his own stomach.

In the United States, Britain and most of the western democracy politicians live and die with a political party and ideology.

I think u are obsessed with Tinubu.
It's shocking that you lots don't have a problem with the fact that the deals he has with his protégés are sending their states to abject poverty.

His political protégés are doing so well that Aregbesola left his state in debt, could not pay salaries and it took federal might intervention and vote-buying to make APC win Osun election.

It's all about Ogun state's internal politics.
After helping to get his Ijebu kinsman; Dapo Abiodun
Elected as Governor, you don't expect him to be in an opposing party.
At the completion of his tenure as Governor , OGD was really out to install a Yewa man as Governor of Ogun state.
But the the Egba using Amosun scuttled the power shift.
After doing 8 years of Egba governorship, oga Ibikunle suddenly remembered that Yewas' were part and parcel of Ogun .
Yes , the Yewas' will get it after another eight years of Ijebu governorship.
We go soon know who get sense pass.
When you see OGD and Tinubu in the same political divide, something more than politics is brewing.
