What will be your reaction assuming you walked into your home and your wife told you that your neighbor beat her? For me, I don't think anybody has the right to touch my wife no matter what. First of all, I will try and find out what happened and what led to the fight before taking any action. The facts still remain she is my wife and if I don't lay my hands on her, no man has the right to abuse her. My sister called me this evening crying that her husband younger beat her and the husband is not at home. They live in Lagos. Because of distance I was so annoyed. I'll do nothing, before a neighbor could raise his hand on her it means she might have washed him from head to toe with insults. Before any man could raise his hand on a woman it showed they have reached their limits of tolerance. You not beating your wife doesn't mean you can't beat a woman, it's because you're yet to reach your limits. I don't support domestic violence, but I'll never involve myself in physical or verbal combat because of any woman. If situation like happened, I'd caution the 2 party involved. |
