Winner of the Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency 1 election, Dr. Bashiru Dawodu, has presented his Certificate of Return to the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo.

The Certificate of Return was issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission to candidates elected on the strength of general elections in the country.

Dawodu, who is a member of the All Progressives Congress, visited Oluomo’s home and thanked the NURTW leader for the role he played in his victory.

In his response, Oluomo said he would support Dawodu to become a senator in 2023 by God’s grace.

He said, “May be after this, we will be going to the Senate by God’s grace.”

Dawodu is a paediatrician once based in Camilla, Georgia, United States of America. He received his medical degree from the University of Lagos College of Medicine and had been in practice for more than 20 years.

According to his citation as published on health.usnews.com, Dawodu was one of two doctors at Mitchell County Hospital and one of 183 at Northside Hospital-Forsyth who specialised in Paediatrics.

As a House of Reps aspirant in 2018, Dawodu, in collaboration with a U.S. group, Eko Club Atlanta, held a two-day free medical checkup for residents, commuters, traders and businessmen/women in Oshodi community.

Not yoruba factor, it is a factor in our south. from Rivers - Bayelsea - Abia down to Akwaibom, not excluding Imo, Anambra, Delta and Edo the politics is determined by Abgeros and Drug lords.
i don't agree that is a yoruba thing, Rather it is regional issue. I asked my younger brother/ friend who is into politics how is it going to be played in his turn, he said make money recruit Boys arm them to the tooth, cause mayhem and see you emerge.

Ambode has really lost

Some people will soon come up with how touts,agberos and street'urchins are traits of "sophistication" just because they have chosen to elevate these villains as role-models and have a large number of them in their regikn's political office..

These people are adept at turning facts and truth on its head,false-hood and re-writting history.

Certified Thugs are now yoruba leaders. Awolowo, Ige, Ajasin and Adesanya will be turning in their Graves.

It's such a huge shame that this man of good virtue, intellect and profession would be seen freely giving thanks not for the masses who voted him but to the street urchins who rigged and manipulated the process for his sake.
