MR ATiku we can not allow you to inspect those materials now, we need time to create everything and make sure its perfect and tally with bogus figures we wrote on the result sheets , then after you can come in to check, because if we let you check now, you will nab us red handed and Inec chairman is not stupid , he want to retain his job, just like Magu want to retain his job too! you dont want INEC chairman to work against Buhari who appointed him 4 Likes |

Then INEC should have waited for the security and logistic challenges to be cleared before giving the nod for tribunal to begin. I feel for Mahmud Yakubu, this wasn't how he expected the elections to turn out. But a building doesn't collapse at once. He saw oversaw the elections in Ekiti and Pain and supplementaries here and there. The cracks were always there; but He thought like the 3-idiots,"all will be well" 1 Like |

Why can't INEC gather the materials at the state head offices then Atiku's agent can go to the states where he suspects rigging to inspect the materials 1 Like |

Smithkafors:I was part of the ad hoc staff believe me apart from card readers and result sheet with so many errors there are no other election material to present for inspection even the ballot papers are handled carelessly at the RA centers and tossed aside. infact as an ad hoc staff when you return from the polling unit nobody cares about any other thing part from result and card reader. 1 Like |

Atiku is indeed a fraud. He wants the court to declare him the winner and failure to do so, the court should nullify the election. A case of killing 2 birds with same stone. Well I know PMB's legal team will see through his cunning and exploit this loophole. Hmmm like a man who is sure of himself. Why not stick the "winner" appeal? This alone, mark my words, is his albatross. |
Re: "Why Atiku Cannot Inspect Election Materials Now" - INEC Reveals by hush15: 9:08am On Mar 19, 2019 |
BeeBeeOoh: if the results are still at the local government? what did they use to declare Buhari as winner? During the abuja collation, Returning officers and RECs where giving figures from one paper which they then submit to the INEC chairman after declaring the figures. Are those ones at the local government too? After expending over 200billion on elections and over 22days down the line after the presidential election, INEC is still giving excuse like these! then INEC chairman needs to be docked because it implies that they are trying to correct the fraud done at the local governments so they dont look stupid at the courts but when you do things the way they doing it now, you still eventually look stupid at the end of the day cos afterall said and done, the only reason why INEC cannot allow access is because they are not ready and cannot defend their figures 2 Likes |

yuanexchanger:men without honour from INEC to apc. whoever supports this rape on democracy and injustice meted out to the electorate is inviting a GENERATIONAL curse on himself. How do we explain the masses haven stood under the sun to elect their leaders and their efforts ended up bastardized by apc,INEC and politicians who want to serve ,fight corruption for us by force and all means. A woman lost her child standing under the sun, just to vote. At the end,it was rigged and this is just one out of many of such tragic election day disturbing stories. so ACCESS to electoral materials is now a rocket science 1 Like |

cyrilamx: why do you take pleasure in supporting incompetency? what you should be concerned about is why INEC wouldnt allow access to petitioner afterall its their right and the courts have affirmed so. so why are you shouting leg pain for when everybody know you have headache... why would very sensitive materials still be at the local government? is it because it is not as sensitive as it is proclaimed to be? The final collation took place in Abuja, what about the result sheets being used at the abuja collation center where we saw on tv that after the results were announced, they submit to the chairman on live tv. Are the card readers still at the local governments? Are they trying to tell us that card readers are stand alone devices and doesn't connect to any database to verify voters? I there is a database, are the databases all at the local government? INEC HQ doesnt have any database at all to monitor accreditation? Accreditations are done independently at the LGAs is what they are telling us? i dont understand. Infact, if you ask me, PDP doesnt need much evidence. All they should request is to have the voters registers used at the various polling unit and the various accreditation details captured by the card reader alone, thats enough to win their caae because they will observed that so many PVCs accredited doesnt match the names and details marked in the voters register. You are here talking about Atiku this and Atiku that.... 3 Likes |

Like seriously, if by now INEC claims the Election materials are still in the Local Govts accross the nation, how then do they get the ones collated to finalise the results that determined the winner... you cannot eat your cake and have it at the same time., I pledge to Nigeria my Country. 1 Like |

Mirrorlenz: What is the due process set out by INEC? Is it due process that more than 3 weeks after the announcement of results, INEC has been unable to provide materials for inspection? Is INEC not aware that in the event of a likely election petition that both petitioner and respondent will request leave to inspect election materials? Is it due process to deliberately delay and frustrate a process that has a life-span as prescribed by the Electoral Act? Are you not aware that INEC is subject to the court and must therefore comply with court orders? 2 Likes |

hush15: I wonder though, since the court has granted leave,is the petitioner not permitted to go to the INEC LGA offices and inspect those materials on site? Why wait until centrally collected and the time keeps running? Since the respondent has also been granted leave I think both parties with relevant INEC officials should be able to go to the site and maybe request costs against INEC in their favour for the tardiness and incompetence of the Commission. |

Meanwhile the deadline for petitions against the presidential election expires today. How is anyone supposed to conduct his case without the materials. The current INEC is really disorganized and incompetent. 2 Likes |
