This looks more like a planned blackmail from the start.
Husband lures a girl to the house and plans with his wife to embarrass her and get a compromising video. Then extort her for money.

The first day I saw the video, the narrative you wrote is exactly what came to my mind. The lady is a young widow and a good soft target .They know she will easily fall for such deception.

In this age of social media and gadgets people should always be more careful. Alot of people are very sick and inhumane.

I doubt it's true. U can't get conviction in a Nigerian court within 2 weeks. Even d celebrity kidnapper , Evans is still in court after many years

Wicked and unprofessional judge. He was either bribed or he wants a piece of that prostitute otherwise he would not give such sentence. 9yrs for what? Dats way too much. An experienced prostititute which she knows she is, had d nerve to go into someone's matrimonial home and wear the wife's clothes. The wife ws not smart she would have cooked up allegations of theft, etc, to add up, just as this prostitute brought in stories of poverty and widowhood to gain public sympathy. Wives should take note, if u find yourself in this situation, u should gather enough allegations, because the prostitute called side-chick, is single and has a upper hand over u.

Guys, don't get it twisted. Magistrate courts are courts of summary jurisdiction. So, it is possible for them to hear and dispense off criminal matters quickly. More so, it is trite in law that once an accused pleads guilty to an offence as charged, such an accused could be convicted immediately upon his plea of "guilty as charged". So, if the trio had pleaded guilty while being arraigned, the magistrate could go ahead to convict them as charged, without necessarily hearing the case of the Prosecution and that of the Defence.

9 years, they deserved to be punished but 9 years is too much

No mention of the court, date or even the judge. Was he just a family lawyer.
What was their own defence....silent.
This is why I don't really believe so many reports till I verify

Finally the case has been settled, I just pity them, even to spend a day in prison is not a funny experience.

...why can't corruption cases against the corrupt politicians be as fast as this...

I wish corrupt & electioneering cases will be this fast. Within 10days. But reverse is the case. Cases involving politicians will linger on till d masses forget & every party is happy: both the complainant, defendants & d third party.
