S10 plus is an overall better phone but I expect a photo crazy person to choose P30 Pro.

Not really photo crazy about camera but Samsung S10 selfie camera is too poor for the price. Also, S10+ design is overplayed. It was so cute 2 years ago but now, i don't know.
Samsung screens cost a fortune too. Frankly i'm just itching for something new in general.

Using the dxo you uploaded earlier, s10 plus has a higher score in selfie than others but its poor to you. Also, the design isnt overplayed because punch hole isnt a two year old design compared to notches. If you are indeed itching for something new then you should be talking about dual screens or foldable phones

When i tested the S10. It's everywhere now. You know quality camera when you see one and that S10+ is not an improvement from Note 9. Too basic, nothing like iPhone.

These aren't the the few things that make up a complete phone. S10 Plus have a better video recording capability and it does that even in 4k. It has Dolby atmos with surround sound compared to mono speakers on P30 Pro. The headphone jack and SD card are retained which is better than no jack and proprietary Nano card on P30 Pro. OneUI is better than EmUI. You guys are getting carried away with the photography capabilities of the phone and ignoring some other details. Software update can bring S10 Plus closer to P30 pro in night shots since daylight shots are pretty much neck and neck while most areas Samsung edges out Huawei cant be fixed with software updates.

I just laugh at the people shouting Sansung and IPhone, in all the review, Huawei came 1st, 2nd and probably 3rd from design, display, battery etc the only but is that snapdragon 855 beat kirin 980 in GPU department which is the only hedge samsung S10 has over it and that is why S10+ leads by 17000 on antutu.
I watch a review about battery test and Huawei also came first, Secound and third then followed by S10+ infact iPhone Xs max did not last beyong 5hours+ while S10 clock 7hrs and all the Huawei clicked 7hrs 44m+

S10 Plus is a better overall device

Huawei P30 pro beat Samsung S10 plus in everything everybody can relates with on day to day bases except the headphone jack and dual dual speaker which is not a big deal at all, I bet more than 50% of phone users don't touch their earpiece letalone care if they have type c or headphone jack, however Huawei P30 also have Dolby atmos.

P30 pro can also make 4k video but at 30fps while Samsung can do that at 60fps even though Samsung beats it, it is not what average phone users care about.
I was thinking you will point out the kind of display used in Samsung which I think is superior to Oled used on Huawei, pixel density and proccessor is where S10 plus clearly wins and average phone users can relate to it in their day to day phone usage as well.
Like I v said earlier, P30 PRO beats S10 plus at what average phone users relates with on their phones and that is why everybody is making noice about P30 pro.

Design, camera, battery, processing power, charging speed and type, ram management, software optimization etc are what average people cares about phone.
The basic question are:
Will I be willing to pay extra $$ to have headphone jack and double speaker I don't even notice?
Will I pay extra $$ for my phone to take a better Pic, battery to last longer, have a good design, better priccessor and better software?

We all can answer the two questions.

For me, the pro is currently the best phone on the planet, closely followed by s10+. The periscope camera & sunshine colour are outstanding. I'm still surprised how you got a review unit this early, nice one from you #henry007 and #Huawei. Is NM card now available for sale on/offline?

All I want to say is , though am an android fan and an iphone hater , I couldn't help to admit the fact that iPhone x series (xs,xmax,xr) camera beats all this high android phones camera ...I saw a selfie comparison between s10 plus nd iphone x of 2 years nd I was very disappointed in samsung ...same old whitesh background nd over washed face ...even the bokeh effect on the s10 plus sucks compared to iphone x ...mind u , am not talking of xs or xmax which has better camera than the x ....samsung,huawei nd xiaomi need to learn one or two things from iPhone camera ...but android beats apple in other areas, my opinion sha

Truth is that the only thing that iPhone cameras shine is Colour Accuracy!! And yes it has better colour accuracy than galaxy S10 but you must realise that their are other things to consider when picking a good camera smartphone...
Things like Low light/Night time performance - iPhones are terrible at that
Zoom capabilities - iPhones are still terrible here
Wideness of lenses - Again iPhones are still terrible here
Good dynamic range - iPhones are good but Pixel devices are way better
Stabilization when taking videos or photos - Samsung and Huawei is ahead

True iPhone images are more beautiful and colour accurate and real to life than Samsung and Huawei But...
Have you seen photos from Google Pixel 2, 2xl, 3, 3xl....
Way better...
By the way i expect iPhones to be good in all those camera parameters because they are way more expensive!!
