Adam and eve in the beginning had no barrier in communication with GOD as the triune nature of God was in them!
God came in the evening physically to see them and they spoke one to another.God inspected the garden he gave them to till from day to day and he left-Genesis 3:8
God always came and there was no barrier between soul,spirit and body.so it was possible to hear,see,smell,touch and feel God in their bodies.
Things changed when adam and eve sinned and at first communication with God truine nature was sawn asunder in them.sin severed mans spirit ,soul and body asunder and brought enmity inwards and outward with GOD in their communication!!
so the network of satans communication was established in mans body as they lost God consciousness(power of immortality to do good only) and gained satans consciousness(power of mortality to do evil and good only)
Thus mans nature through sin brought death and enmity in the physical realm and spiritual realm with God.
The awakening of satans consciousness(sin) man

The awakening of satans consciousness in man caused him to see and hear,feel and touch in the flesh and see what God made(them) as evil.
gen 3-6 to 8" Their eyes were opened and they knew(knowledge of evil)that they were naked! and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves covering.
contrast this with gen 2:25"And they were both naked,the man and his wife and were not ashamed!
innocence vs guilt
glory vs shame
righteousness vs sin
so we see man lost all spiritual sense of God having lost immortal life and the spirit of God(communicator) in them.
so sin(satans network)destroyed Gods communication(network)with man and made it fail.
satan had his victory over man and death reigned from adam till moses.Romans 5:14.
From the time of Adam to moses people died physically and were dead spiritually too in sin
Mans nature became at enmity with God and rebellious to an extent mans lifetime years was shortened till 120 and from that to 90 80 and 70.
Gods spirit stopped striving with man-gen 6:3

Satans call(wickedness) was in man striving against Gods call(righteousness)
one generation may be righteouss on earth while the other wicked.
This was always the case till the God caused the 1st flooding to slay 1/3rd of men ,later the flood era and so on till we are today.
So satans network and Gods network have always been at war.
satans network in man(sin) can be destroyed today because Jesus christ has paid the price of redemption on the cross of calvary-1john 3-8.
how then do we get back Gods network?
and his Holyspirit(communicator)
it is when we confess our sins,and accept Jesus christ then the ENMITY(SEPERATION BETWEEN GOD AND MAN VIA SIN) is destroyed!

The enmity in the body is destroyed.ephesians 2 vs15 to16
Since satans network(sin) was activated in the body creating enmity between soul spirit and body(physical and spiritually),Jesus christ destroys the same enmity in his flesh.since the law was physical and made for sinners and transgressors,it never saved man from sin and enmity with God but further strenghtened it.The law is the strength of sin and it cause judgment on any erring person under the dispensation of the law-1st cor 15 vs 56,hebrews 10:27-29,2 cor 3:7,11.
so until the shedding of a righteous blood by a righteous person for a righteous purpose,the enmity between God and man continued.satan rejoiced until Gods gen 3:15 prophecy was fufilled.The seed of the serpent bruised the seed of the woman(Jesus christ crucifixtion and resurrection) at his heel.while the seed of the woman would bruise the serpents head(satans defeat on the cross of calvary and coming total destruction).
so we that are now under the dispensation of Grace have the victory
