Everybody knows that Igbos are cowards but you are showing us that you are an inflated kind.Out of 8-9 points, you have only answered 1.
Now,come'on answer the remaining. That is a good lad there...

Let us see whether you are intelligent and man enough to respond to why Ibadan is more developed than all Igboland by:
1.Being the fourth economy in Nigeria and none of your backward state is even the tenth economy.

2.The GDP of Ibadan is higher and even doubled that of Anambra, your alleged richest state in the East.

3.The per capita of the Yorubas in Ibadan is double that of the Igbos in Anambra, your alleged richest state.

4.Ibadan only has more than 10 GRAs while all Igboland cannot boast of even 6.

5.Ibadan only has 5 mega malls while all Igboland has 4 malls which are not so productive.

6.Why Ibadan has CBD with skyscrapers and Igboland has none.

7.Why Ibadan only has infrastructures like radio stations, television stations, newspaper houses, international research centres, schools, universities etc more than all Igboland.

8.etc etc etc

9.And finally why you think any of your states is as or even more developed than Ibadan.

Only if you or anyone of you is a coward will he pick only one out of these.
Respond to all so that your Igbo brethren will truly know that Igboland can stand shoulder high with Ibadan.

My best bet is that you will all run away and do as if you didn't see this post because...
YOU CANNOT GIVE WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE.
Can you tell us how you officially got your GDP figures for Ibadan and Oyo state, don't state Wikipedia as your source please and your official source of the city and state GDP per capita, not Wikipedia source again.
I'll leave the rest for now because they've been largely addressed by other posters but nothing has been said nor asked how you came about your phantom figures

I've always been curious why Afonjas are this insecure. I've never seen a tribe so fucking insecure. Never in history of Nairaland have I ever seen those things not dick measuring with any topic of any state made to showcase their state. Wtf? Tufiakwa. As if it's anyone's fault that there leaders actually believe development is paper glory. Smh. Anyway, I enjoy watching topics like this about Anambra. Whatever happens at onitsha always trickle down to Asaba as well.

Coscharis Farms, strategically located within Anambra 'light of our nation' is home to hygienically fertilized and cultured rice grains processed by in house bio-experts into 100% Sortexed long grain parboiled rice for mass market supply and consumption.

The farm is currently growing on 2500 hectares of land with anticipated 5000 hectares of out-growers scheme in the first phase of the project implementation. In 2016 planting season the farm's target of first production at commercial quantity on 500 hectares to achieve 3000 metric tons of rice paddy.

With the local consumption of rice in Anambra State estimated at 300,000 metric tons and present production only 20,000 metric tons, Coscharis Farms aims to put their shoulder to the wheel by producing about 20,000 metric tons of rice by 2019, when the farm would have achieved full capacity rice operations in the first phase. Coscharis Farms plans to expand cultivation to 10, 000 hectares of land in the second phase of the project with a capacity to produce about 70,000 metric tons of rice.

Unbiased1:

OK let's end this
1)Oyo is the 4th largest economy in Nigeria and can't pay salaries and pensions of its civil servants while Ebonyi that is down the list is doing so. Nigeria's GDP is higher than that of Israel but is no where near Israel in terms of any positive parameter so what's the big deal about GDP? Equatorial Guinea has a large GDP per capital but it has reflected on its citizen just like what we have in Oyo where people are so poor that they can't even renovate their houses and roofs in West Africa's largest city ( Ibadan )

2) In this era of real estate business, who talks about GRA when we have private investors building estates all over Enugu, Awka, Owerri etc. The number of estates in Enugu city alone outnumbers the number of estates in Oyo, Ekiti, Osun and Ondo combined. Let's not even start with Owerri and Awka.

3) Based on the features of the so-called mega malls in Ibadan, there is nothing different between them and other shopping centers in Nigeria. Aviva place in Owerri is bigger than Ventura mall but you don't see us shouting about Aviva. I know u don't even know Aviva place exists. Those shopping centres in Ibadan are fond of adding "Mall" to their names which is what is swelling your head that you guys have 11 malls. All we need to do in the east is to change the names of our shopping centres to malls and we will overtake 5 states in the SW in number of malls. Aviva place becomes Aviva mall, Roban stores becomes Roban mall, "All in" becomes All in Mall etc.

4) Ibadan does not have a skyscraper. Cocoa house/tower and the remaining 3 buildings are high rise and mid-rise structures respectively. We have all seen aerial photography of Ibadan from the cocoa tower and everyone can easily tell that Ibadan has 1 high rise building (12floors to 39floors), 3 mid-rise buildings(4 floors to 11 floors) all located on the same Dugba street and a kingdom of bungalows and 1 story dilapidated houses with destroyed roofs of which most houses do not have toilets. Onitsha city has the most number of mid-rise structures compared to other cities in Nigeria. Abakaliki has more Mid-rise structures than the combination of 5 state capitals in the SW.

5) As for the reasons why I feel the SE is more developed than Ibadan and the SW in general, these reasons are:
- More and faster urban development in the east. Onitsha has the second largest urban Landmass in Africa behind Johannesburg. Onitsha is also the only city with an equal metropolitan landmass and urban landmass.
-The SE has the highest urban index in Nigeria with nearly 20% of its landmass being urban compared to the SW with barely 2% of its landmass being urban.
-The only 2 Airports in the SE gets more passengers coming and going in and out of the east more than the combination of the passengers in the Airports in Akure, Osun and Ibadan. In fact, the Airport in Ibadan is the most disgraceful airport in Nigeria because, Maiduguri Airport records over 30,000 passengers yearly compared to Ibadan with barely 1000 passengers and Akure with barely 5000. Enugu gets over 350,000 while Owerri gets over 440,000. Outside Lagos, what you get in the SW is mega slum.
- From education statistics over the last 15 years, the only area where the SW leads the east is in number of public and private universities. The east outperforms the rest of country in Primary education even with their high cutoff marks, WAEC statistics, Jamb statistics, National University Commission's statistics on number of Professor per state, Technology competitions and advancement etc. The east is just blessed.
- From of list of Slum cities in Nigeria, 3 states from SW topped the list with Ibadan and Lagos fighting for who would be the king of slums in Nigeria. Enugu was the state in SE that appeared in the list and down the list.
- Ibadan is the biggest slum city in Africa not not Nigeria. Its a record and a known fact.
- The SW recorded more than 5 times more criminal activities and cases of rape, ritual and murder than the SE and the 2 highest in Nigeria after the NE while the SE recorded the lowest crime rates from 2013 to date.

All these rantings instead of answering the questions and giving us points why Igboland is not as developed as Ibadan only, you started talking like a zombie who lies that his father owns the national stadium, national theatre etc.
No proofs.
This is why only Ibadan is more developed than Igboland.

Facts speaks for themselves.
Let's assume that it was the south west that the civil war happened,it would still be in ruins.
Anambra state is good and Oyo also is good but the Bible also concur that wise men came from the east.
So stop arguing cos all tribes have fault doesn't mean we should fight for the best cos United we stand but we fall when separated.
So brothers please grow up.
Op nice post you get. .

This silly thread predictably devolved into what the OP was looking for. Spamming the Nairaland politics section all the time with Anambra propagandist nonsense as if any non-Anambrarian gives a fucckk, or as if Anambra is the only state in the country. If you wanted serious discussions, there is an Anambra development update thread mostly contributed to by Anambrarians. But it was just meant to be usual chestbeating nonsense. I don't see people from Kano or Kaduna or Rivers or Ogun always spamming this forum like the OP, making us Anambrarians look like chestbeating noisemakers all the time.
For the record, Anambra has only one city which is Onitsha. Nowhere else comes close to being a "city".
