At the just concluded Shanghai Auto Show in 2019, the luxury version of Toyota, Lexus has unveiled its first minivan. Known as the Lexus LM, the cabin of the Aphard-based Toyota exotic minivan will be available for the four and seven-seat setup.

The setup of the seven-seat will span across three rows of seats while the more exotic four-seat setup will feature reclining captains ’chair, 19-speaker sound system, 26-inch entertainment screen and the prominent glass privacy partition common with Rolls Royce model. This glass partition can shift from transparent to opaque. It luxury version still promises a 14-liter fridge.





Prospective buyers will enjoy the options of picking between the LM 350 with a naturally aspirated (3.5-liter) V6 engine or the electrified LM 300h with 2.5-liter 4-cylinder Atkinson Cycle engine.

The LM by Lexus is expected to be on sale in China and other parts of the Asian automotive market later this year. For the pricing of the new luxury minivan, the company is yet to make the official announcement.
