Igbo People Do Not Understand Nigerian Politics - Chief Omeh by Nobody: 4:59pm On Apr 27, 2019
A chieftain of the APC, Chief Matthias Omeh, says Igbo political leaders have failed to copy the politics of inclusion practiced by Nnamdi Azikiwe - Omeh warns that the southeast region would remain the way it is in 10-years from now if Igbos politicians do not change their disposition towards politics - The chieftain of the APC says if the Igbo people had plans for politics of 2023, they would not have voted for Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 presidential election A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Matthias Omeh, has said the southeast region has not gained politically because people from the region have not understood Nigerian politics. Chief Omeh in an interview with Daily Trust published on Saturday, April 27, said the rigid style of Igbo politics is causing setback for the region. The APC chieftain said since the death of Nnamdi Azikiwe and his generation of Igbo political leaders, politicians in the southeast have failed to copy the politics of inclusion practiced by Azikiwe.

The Igbo man has failed to play that type of politics now. Ndigbo now plays politics of rigidity, politics of one-party system that has never worked well in this part of the country because of our socio-cultural diversity,” Omeh said. “The current leaders of Ndigbo lack flexibility in their style of politics; and this is working against our people. They lack diplomacy and they are too rigid. Again, our people don’t plan ahead. No Igbo politician now will be able to tell you this is where the Igbo man will be in five years’ time; politically. Chief Omeh said the southeast region would remain the way it is in 10-years from now if Igbo political leaders of the do not change their disposition towards politics.

The APC chieftain also dismissed suggestion that President Muhammadu Buhari hates or dislikes Ndigbo, noting that there is no senatorial district in Enugu state that Buhari’s administration has not touched with one good road or the other. Meanwhile, the PDP and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, have told the presidential election petitions tribunal in Abuja that their victory as shown in the results from the INEC server was genuine. Atiku and PDP dismissed claims by the president’s spokesperson, Festus Keyamo, that the said result on INEC server which purported to show that the candidate of the PDP won the presidential election was fabricated after the server was hacked. The PDP presidential candidate through his team of lawyers led by Levi Uzoukwu (SAN) told the tribunal the results obtained from the INEC server was neither false nor concocted.

OMEH pls allow this people to be in the slavery mood they currently occupy in Nigeria now its crystal clear that all they know how to do is cheast beating nd to make porn movie with their coward Kaonu master

Politics of bitterness nd hatred will definitely lead them to their slavery destination. Whoever emerges a winner in 2023 will not affect southwest bcs we hav our representative nd top stakeholder loyalists among the 2 leading parties nd therefore can not be marginalized in anyway

If we post on your criminality here Yorubas will get banned. We censor most of your atrocities that we post here...they are too negative and grunge for human spirit to digest. There are storylines online on what your people do to innocent babies they buy at baby factories littered allover your region. We dont need to go that deep into gory news and visuals. You have enough criminalities we can report without offending human spirits reading it. You dont think stories and pictures of Iboman eating a fellow human exist in this day and age do you? grin

Nnamdi Azikiwe is half Nsukka, half Onitsha just so you know. In fact, he was more amenable to Nsukka, the reason he sited the University of Nigeria there.

Meanwhile, OP, Ndigbo are not interested in understanding the politics of the zoo.
