babyosisi: Lmfao. ameromoge, you guys would have to have a culture first before it can die. lol I'm sure thebaby daddy "culture" will be around for a long time anyway. On a serious note, like i said before, instead of them discussing that, they are busy crying about who's dating who. |

i dunno anyone who wants to be like akata and you saying like akata has anything anyone can emulate excerpt i don't give a f**k attitude which disrespect. Twice i visited my aunt in the states i saw the so called akatas selling drugs and killing themselves while the Africans especially naijas were working and hustling every other thing but drugs. Most akatas i came across whether young or old in the metro had a loud attitude and hardly talk about meaningful things excerpt threats and foul words. In some parts of naija, akatas who don't have a clue where they 'r from are called black exiles and no disrespect. |
Re: Marriage Squeeze: Is This Only An African American Woman's Problem? by naijaway(m): 3:32am On May 10, 2007 |
point of clarity: Akatas who don't know where they are from in yankee are regarded as black exiles so you guys are BEs while we are the black capital (BCs). |

Jokes apart let's not generalise there are some very intelligent African Americans AKA akata. |
Re: Marriage Squeeze: Is This Only An African American Woman's Problem? by naijaway(m): 3:39am On May 10, 2007 |
be specific and say a very few. They ask my sister things like if naija has cars, roads, and so on. to me that sounds like ignorance cuz they take what the white people show them on tv to generalize. Slave trade days 'r over but they hardly travel excerpt a FEW. They really need enlightment and broadening class like our northerners here in naija. |

Americans generally know nothing outside of America, blacks and whites. Some don't even know their state capitals and who their governor is |

I don't think thats an African-American thing, Americans are well known for being back to the topic! Next time you see* an eligible black man, go chat him up before he gets chatted up by a white woman *(thats if the blonde wigs allows you ) |

Rofl. and she has the audacity to say people "copy" them. Copy what? What dressing? last I checked they were the ones fooling themselves by buying fake kente cloth. hahha |

BigSis:[/b] There is a difference between working hard to get ahead and subjugating to whites. Kissing up to one's boss is not the samething as subjugating one's self to whites. These whites that you speak of kiss up to their fellow white bosses to get ahead. We just choose to work hard to earn a living and get ahead rather than rely on the state for support. BigSis: In Nigeria, our president is black, our parliamentarians are black, the political elite class are black, over 95% of the country's wealth are controlled by blacks - all black Nigerians. Take a drive down marina and victoria island, and take a look at the skyscrappers. Over 80% of them are owned by Nigerians. In the U.S., the president is (and has always been) white, the overwhelming majority of U.S. congress members are white, the political elite class are white, the economy is run by whites, over 90% of america's wealth are controlled by whites. So in contrast to your thinking, Nigerians are the true masters of our land, while the whites are the true masters (the one's really calling the shorts) in the U.S. |

@ BigSis I can only say as a black American woman that I know very few black American women who are sexually attracted to white men. So you want ever see that happening among AA women in any significant numbers. We are absolutely not impressed by their manhood. Most importanly, black women history in this country relative to white men isn't a pleasant one. So we don't hold them in high regard or generally see them a viable marriage or sexual partners. We all know the REAL truth. It's not really that there are few black American women who are sexually attracted to white men but that less than 1% of white men would touch black women with a 10foot pole. They can smile at you and be polite but that is the best you can expect. All these "we only want our strong black brothers" thingy is merely a face saver. |

Redlips, Stop hatin'g. African Americans in contemporary human history are the creators of world popular culture. We are the geniuses and the world, especially Africans desperately imitates. Who are you? But most important, who cares? You realize whatever your people's culture is, it doesn't exist outside of your limited group experience. Your perverse behaviors are institutionized. African men father many babies by different African women. Y'all just call it second and third wives, girlfriends, and cucubines, aka baby mamas. It is the same thing in your society where pedophila is institutionalized, where you 49 year old men humping 12 year girls. Or where you culture accepts the exploitation and the enslavement of children. Yeah y'all call them house girls and boys. By the way, if I am a akaka, then you are a sagging breasted, jungle bunny, with a hoop throw your nose. Naijaboy, Naijas corpes lie in the open in Naija cooking in the sun. There is not respect for life. Black on black crime is very prevalent. I have to keep from being kidnapped. So y'all want hack me to death and cut me up for rituals to sell to fellow naijas for the juju. What a culture. I wish I was a part of that. Baby, In contemporary human history, America is the Roman empire. Who cares about the world, as long as I can have somewhere to lay my head and eat three times a day. So until your society makes something that world wants and deem valuable, you are insignificant. I don't need to know about your world, I am a member of the Roman empire. Who cares about the villagers. David, It is no biggy. I don't find white men sexually appealing at all. You are simply not good looking men. Black men are superior to you physically and beauty wise and intellect. And 99% of Black American women I know feel the same. You just can't compete with a black man when it come to your manhood. You are simply underdeveloped humans, with weaker forms and less attractiveness. So we are on the same page. You find some deperates third world woman who is hungry and will lay with you. Or someone who has issues with herself as a black woman. But believe me, African American women consider you to the least of all men. You are simply unattractive men, who just happen to be in power at this moment in human history. Your sexual appeal compared to men of African descent is zero. I know it, and you know it. Black men are the most beautiful men on the planet, and to have some other, is to settle for a lesser being. Africans are incredibly gullible. This is whites love you guys so much. This is why they rule and the masters in your land. You subjugate yourselves to these people. Y'all so good and non-threatening. YOu just greatful to grinning their faces. |
Re: Marriage Squeeze: Is This Only An African American Woman's Problem? by naijaway(m): 8:20pm On May 10, 2007 |
bigsis, there's no need to argue with you cuz u probably gat two kids with two different fathers and yet u still not married coupled with the fact that u'r too fat and probably VERY VERY UGLY. As for african american men being more handsome, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder; but from my point of view they have never been better than us in any way cuz people like you will be a slave again to a white man just to get a mixed child. And all the non mixed african americans may I remind you were/are kids/descendants of the original africans. My advice is that u equip ur ignorant wanna be mixed peoples alright. |
Re: Marriage Squeeze: Is This Only An African American Woman's Problem? by Tonim(f): 8:38pm On May 10, 2007 |
BigSis: @BigSis, if we are so gullible and subjugate ourselves to whites, then why are you married to one of our men ? I was going through this thread https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-10762.0.html#msg298507 were you mentioned that you are married to a Nigerian. You said African American women consider Nigerians the least of all men, that we Nigerians are gullible right ?. So Please explain how is it you are married to one of our men Quote from BigSis I am married to a Nigerian, and I would not tolerate my husband lording his cultural values on me or my children |

Re: Marriage Squeeze: Is This Only An African American Woman's Problem? by ricadelide(m): 10:38pm On May 10, 2007 |
there's no need for this topic to get messy. and there is no need for stereotypes as well; people are people and individual attributes should not be generalized as representative of a population of people. in my case, i don't really find white women appealing. I live in the midwest so you can understand how abundant white women are here relative to blacks, but i find the few black women here much more attractive and appealing. maybe its because i grew up in Naija, but that's just me. some other brotha might find white women more appealing, its all a matter of preference. by and large, i see people on an individual basis, beauty is fleeting, character is the koko. when i find someone who shares my strong faith in God and appeals to me in character, beauty and compatibility, i'd stick with that person, irrespective of the race. but if i had my way i'd rather marry not just a black, but a naija person of my tribe; i love speaking, singing and writing poems in my native language, lol cheers everyone |

And once more the saga continues, White women/men marrying Black men/women, Who cares? It's a personal choice, to each its own. I know I won't allow myself to be "raped" all over again, so I have limitations on who I allow to rumble under the covers with. For those black brothers who still believe that white women are superior and would rather date/marry them over your black sister, yea "ga lang", More power to you. For the black brothers who have decided not to "jump ship", even more power to you!! As I said it's a personal choice, and in life we all make decisions based on numerous factors. While I am convinced that a few marry these ladies as a result of genuine love, the majority do so out of self-pity and opportunity. The whole thread has taken a different approach and I am out!!! |

We are the geniuses and the world, especially Africans desperately imitates. Who are you? But most important, who cares? Lmfao. Is this a joke? dude, April Fools Day was last month. genius of what? maybe before but now you guys are a joke. The generation before you did A LOT so your generation now can have the freedom to reach for whatever you want yet many of you don't take that opportunity, rather just sit and whine and have my taxes pay for your damn babies. In Nigeria, a baby with a baby is looked dwn upon, over here it's praised. Better stop fooling yourself and if you went to college, you'd know the Africans do better academically than your wack asses. Comot jare. and where did you get the idea that David was white? hahahhaa 1 Like |

Tonim: The Nigerian that married this chick is a disgrace. Lol here they are whining about how black american men are losing "culture" yet she's whining about how she wont have her supposed Nigerian husband raise her and her kids with his own culture. THE IRONY. |

some pple are sooo immature on this nairaland, once you see their i.d. on any thread they are sure to be there trading insults and misbehaving. i mean, the odd spat is o.k. thats why this is an online forum- few of us here are ever going to meet physically, so we can express our minds freely. but there are some people here, you begin to wonder what they are like in real life. can they sustain relationships? do they have friends? they are so hotheaded and stupid. |

nosa101: I heard we sold them for broken mirrors. @ bigis In contemporary human history, America is the Roman empire. Who cares about the world, as long as I can have somewhere to lay my head and eat three times a day. So until your society makes something that world wants and deem valuable, you are insignificant. I don't need to know about your world, I am a member of the Roman empire. Who cares about the villagers. A member of the Roman empire who only won partial rights to vote in the 1960's that will soon expire! I'm sure there were slaves during the ancient Roman empire, that's the group you and your ilk belong to. Why dont you go to stormfront and tell them about your roman empire fantasy. See how they welcome you! Only blind people do not realise that the REAL Americans that we all envy are the whites who hold the wealth and political power! The blacks like you merely make up the numbers. Enjoy the forced generosity of the white man. . . |
