Don't be too hasty to draw conclusion, sir. The NDLEA staff at the Aminu Kano International Airport Kano confessed during interrogation to the crime after the Lady's father escalated the issue.

The gist actually is that there are 2 persons being held in Saudi in connection with the wicked activities of this syndicate in Kano on that day in December 2018. Apart from the lady, there is another 80 years old man who is also suffering similar fate but have no one to take up his his case, the lady in the eye of the storm have to plead with her father to equally take up the case of the man with that of hers.

What this NDLEA syndicate normally do is to take up the balance of any Luggage weight of a traveller, look for another bag and ensure that the content do not exceed the remaining unused luggage weight and include the sustance(s) with other personal items they have collected money to send across to whoever they have made arrangement with; and ofcourse the names of the traveller is used in tagging the bag without their knowledge. if they are lucky and bag passes under the redar in Saudi, their guys at the other end knows how to retrieve the bag, but if found the traveller automatically takes the bullet.

This is a very wicked syndicate, many may have been killed in the past as a result of this while many anothers are still languishing in prison for a crime they know nothing about. We should always be careful when travelling especially if you are travelling with luggages that weighs less than our alloted baggage weight.

Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, this morning announced that the National Hajj Commission has hired Saudi Arabian lawyers to help in the facilitation of the release of Zainab Aliyu, the Nigerian lady falsely accused of drug peddling in Saudi Arabia.

Zainab was arrested in December 2018 with Tramadol, a banned substance.

Investigations by the Nigerian government have since revealed that the drug was planted in Zainab's luggage by a cartel that specialises in planting drugs in the bags of unsuspecting travelers.

This is the true version of what happened to zaynab and the old man. the balance of the mum's luggage weight was sold, but she was lucky as it was not used for drugs., other wise the mum too would be in prison with her.
