Sadly, Nigerians will prefer to die in their homes, even if from hunger than be shot, period.

Quite sad and pathetic.

Instead of buying private jet of $27 million? (N10B). Why not build a manufacturing company & employ your church members and other jobless citizens in the country? So the revolution must start from the church sir, even the bible says the judgement would start from the alter.

Buying a private jet and building of institutions are better than preaching hate, telling kids to carry out jihad and grooming of terrorist

My problem is that many don't know how dirty majority of these so called big names in the churches are. They only talk about the poor when their attack is targeted at politicians especially the president. where as they hardly care about the poor when you go closer and see how they mismanage the church fund on irrelevant things pretending as if the poor people no longer exist.

Even ordinary people who go to church once in a quarter have conscience and fear God much better than they do. They have no morals to pass on to the society anymore. you see how they go about acquiring women even church members wives, money, properties and the kind of expensive life style they live to the detriment of this same poor people they pretend to speak for, not to talk of the fact that our bible which they serve as the custodian teaches against such behavior.

so Incase they think that our problems as a society starts and ends with the politicians, I as a person say no, our present day religious leaders especially CAN as an organization are the worst and do more harm than our politicians.

Nigerians are hopeless sets. Bunch of low quality people.
Most people on this thread can't even comprehend what he said. grin
He has simply pointed out the truth. As usual, Nigerians are wimps who deserve what they are getting now because they can't face their problems collectively. Rather, we are divided along the line of religion and tribe. Bunch of hopeless people. I hate the people in this country to the bone. Bunch of unserious bast*rds!!!

Lol. There won't be revolution in Nigeria cause Nigerians love suffering and smiling and many people have taken solace in religion so religion is the opium of the masses, it's their consolation.

The behaviour of Nigerians can be measured on nairaland and it will be accurate. Because a pastor said it. When Fela said it them say na Igbo. Most Nigerians na kpians. Oh what a wasted and frustrated human capital.

Antoeni:
The Archbishop of Enugu Ecclesiastical Province, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Rev Emmanuel Chukwuma, on Tuesday called on Nigerians to prepare for a revolution.
Chukwuma,  who has constantly criticised  President Muhammadu Buhari’s management  style, spoke in an interview with our correspondent in Enugu.
According to him, the  poverty rate is high in the country  because of bad leadership.
He  said    the N30,000 new minimum wage would not   reduce poverty in Nigeria,  adding that  inflation would render  the new  pay  worthless.
The cleric said, “There  is hunger and  people are deprived   of  the basic necessities of life in Nigeria and the  N30,000 new  minimum wage, which amounts to N1,000 per day,  would not solve any problem.
“How would people pay for house rent, school fees, medical fees and other utilities which must be taken care of, let alone feeding themselves and their  families.”
Chukwuma said, “It is high time the expired and old politicians who have held Nigeria down left the stage so that we can have a new Nigeria of our dream where things work.”
He urged the Nigeria Labour Congress  to champion the revolution,  which, according to him,  is imminent.
He also  called for  the restructuring of  the country.
Chukwuma added,  “All  political appointments must reflect  federal character. Since the President and  his deputy  come from  the North-West and South-West respectively,  the position of the Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives should go to other zones.”

Sir, this N30,000 includes tithes, church levies for payment for Diocesan Assessment, bus for Evangelism, Synod meeting, Bishop's visit etc, there is need to increase workers' salaries (say to N400,000/month) so that they can take care of financial burdens the churches impose on their members. Whenever i listen to testimonies of financial throughs by members in churches and their complaints outside about how poor Nigeria economy is and how citizens find it difficult to afford basic needs of life, I get confused and I suspect contradiction. Things will continue like in Nigeria until we deliberately take the decision to become a producing nation and some basic facilities provided by the government. Under the present situation in the country no amount of salary can change the futune of the workers.

With Freedom of speech come the freedom for some nitwits to start displaying their talent.

Your submission is so so silly. So you meant his family members leading the pack is the prerequisite for us to retrieve our pride as Nigerians? Little wonder we’re where we are.

Could it be most of men of God do not know who God is.
Could it be some were never called into the ministry.
Could it be our religiosity lack 'love and a compassionate heart'
Jesus only emphasized "Love for God and my Neighbour" All others are mere religion act.
Things that holds most naija economy are
(1)The act's and decisions of each politicians
(2)The words the so call Men of God preaches (all religion)
(3)What our educational institutions teaches (primary, secondary, universities)
(4)Family trainings and values.
A Political office holders,All educationists, Clerics,Parents decides what happens in any given economy.
Until a radical change happens in the thought pattern of the four above. We are in deep mess.

Since when does the church become the driver of growth in any country? Are some of you this dense? Which church do you have in China?

May God kill all these old politicians that turn public offices to their only work, they know that they habe been failing for long yet they don't want to leave the sit for fresh ideas,. Children are made to believe that they are leaders of tomorrow, but it was all lies that's why youth doesn't have any where to channel their ideas before channeling it to frauds, while the old geezers are busy competing for power youth too are competing for supremacies.

Nigerian youths are cowards, that's why the country will remain in the hands of the thieving criminals called our leaders for a long time, unless there is a change of mindset among them. Out of all the protests initiated in this country or abroad how many have been killed? But remember the solutions they had brought to the problems behind the protests.
So take courage and learn to fight for your rights. Remember, it the door that creaks that gets the grease.
