Kogi State’s problems have nothing to do with party. Pep was in power for a long time and the people suffered as well. It has nothing to do with tribe as well. An igalla man was the governor for many years and he did nothing to improve the lives of the people. Instead he imposed hardship on them. Now the governor is egbira with the same wickedness. I believe the problem is there is so much illiteracy in Kogi. Plus Kogi people generally revere the rich. Because of the abject poverty of the state, someone who is seen as poor elsewhere would be treated as a king in Kogi State. They are complete yes men when money and power is involved. But the same Kogi people are often beyond wicked to themselves.
