Stop judging the girl. She's finding happiness in other things. Thats a solution to depression.

Most people tend to confuse depression with sadness. Which is wrong. Sadness is just a trasient emotional state that can be overcome by doing the things one enjoys, which is presumably what the young lady is referring to, buts it's not so with depression.

It a horrifyingly deep state of hopelessness so intense that the more one tries to come out the more it pull them under it's unyielding vacuum. Basically NOTHING will seem worthwhile anymore, hence the usual resort to suicidal ideations. Th4 the solution of simply thinking "about things one enjoys" is hogwash..

Such people require URGENT attention (psychological, spiritual, psychiatric) when they are identified. It's no joke my people.

Stop overhyping DEPRESSION abeg. Once you find something that makes you happy, depression dwindles.

but true be told, whatever it is u are facing u are not the first. People have faced it and survived, faced worse and survived, yle others caved in. Ts not easy dou, but certainly doable.

Chemical imbalances in the brain aren't a joke. Our brain is just like a computer that functions based on the information (hormones) fed into it (Only it actually feeds itself).

A depressed person usually feels he has nothing more to live for. Those things mentioned don't matter one bit. Even death doesn't seem bad anymore. But rather a way out to put their own body and mind and that of others at rest forever.

Depression is serious..... hopelessness. You can be as poor as dirt.... but still have hope ... the motivation to live. When depressed... or hope is lost.... the person loses the will to live...they just exist... and then conclude it 8s better to die than to exist. But we should note... many youths self medicate.... some drugs are psychotic and these push their users to commit suicide. E.g...prozac... is used to fight depression.... but also brings on suicidal thoughts....mainly slitting of wrists. It's for us to be our brother's/sister's keeper.... watch their change in behaviour...keeping to themselves.

Sex and drinking are temporary solution. Your problem won't go away. Just END IT, and you won't see the problem again

Similar to my kinda thinking...

Sometimes, I am like is this the lowest possible I can be at? There's possibly more lower levels, so this current level is a better one relatively speaking...

Sometimes it works, sometimes the struggle is great...

Other times, I just go full game mode... I do remember those times during game-play where the character I had been using would be so spent of life energy such that it would have taken just one hit to "game over" but progress was still made nonetheless... it was fearful, exciting, optimistic and adrenaline-invoking...

Those are just two of my mental blocks...

At other times, the sufferer may just need to speak to/hear/both(communicate with) someone... while there isn't always someone easily accessible, my major replacement/alternative is music on such subject... or just good music... If you have good ears and tonal taste you mayn't even need vocals just instrumentals...

However, the human mind (at least my mind, lol) is very dynamic and highly fatigable... There may come seasons when you ear will be dull of music... You just cannot stand to hear what you used to enjoy previously (same thing happens to "your favorite food" while growing up; after you've acquired some freedom enough to provide enough of your then favorite food for yourself, you may find your favorite food may not be too special after all and may get replaced )

You find that one's mind (or auxiliary help from minds of friends or helpers) needs to come up with solutions early enough, at other times you find that your "saving grace" may be hinged on simply "enduring your video without audio, volume"(and the video is long).

This girl hasn't seen anything, sounds childish.....let her Google about Adolf merckle. He was one of the richest men in Germany and 94th in the world as at time of suicide. He had everything he wanted... Cars, mansions, worth in billions but why did HE commit suicide?


Depression is REAL. When it comes it can overrun anything

He/She who kills himself/herself is not made tough. If killing oneself is by depression, half Nigerians would better have gone beyond.

We are made tough life. Not shallow minds that cannot face life.

This small girl doesn't know anything about depression...I still partially suffer from ir though...when depression catch nothing will freak you..even money will disgust sex will disgust you...the only thing u will think of is death...u won't even fear death....depression no be better thing oo...u will be seeing good tbings that will make u happy but still u will be sad....likin park,avicii many others lost dere life to depression that moment two things will entice u alcohol and drugs...cuz u need something to take ur mind off it...u might end up taking overdose of drug or drinking excessively

After careful observation I have come to the conclusion that Uniport babes are fine 100/100.
