My passport got missing in a way quite difficult to explain now. Please who has gone through the process of replacing a lost passport ? What is the procedure and likely cost . Thank you.

Go to the nearest immigration office to u with court affidavit and police report stating ur passport number and name and the time it got missing. The cost is about 45k- 50k

Just entered Lagos from Abuja ds evening , I did mine on Thursday in Abuja, I collected it the same day. I wanted to do it in Lagos, they said it will take roughly 2-4 weeks because of booklet scarcity, I had to fly to Abuja.. Requirements, National ld card, Lost passport number, affidavit etc 45k.

U can't renew a passport that has 1 year left to expire(Only passport that remains 6 months to expire). So u will apply as lost.... I guess I answered ur question?
