Blue3k: Is there presently anything wrong with d port that is in Warri? Y is Warri port wastinh away when it can b put 2 use 2 presently help decongest Lagos port? If an entirely new port is built at d cost of $3.9b, will d old port b closed? |

Gforce2019:What do u mean by attempt? There's an existing port in Warri along with those in PH and Calabar which d govt has refused 2 put 2 use. What's d business sense in building an entirely new port at d cost of $3.9b? |

Lumig: Hows it good news? Aren't u aware that there's a port in Warri that is highly underutilized? Y build a new one when d one available u aren't using? |

makdcash:$3.9b 4a new port when d one there is being underutilised. Baba really knows what he is doing. |

lexy2014: The port is shallow. Why spend millions dredging it when you can have brand new one that probably naturally deeper. NPA already concessioned warri and ships are free to use it. I dont know what you mean by closed. |
Re: Federal Government Approves $3.9bn For Warri Seaport by lexy2014: 6:43pm On May 11, 2019 |
Blue3k: How do u no its shallow? Since u say it has been concessioned, what is stopping ships from using it? I think my use of d word close isn't ambiguous |

Blue3k: ANY PORT SITED OUTSIDE LAGOS, IS A WELCOMED DEVELOPMENT. HOWEVER, WATCH HOW POLITICS WILL MAKE SURE SUCH PROJECTS NEVER SEES THE LIGHT OF DAY, BUT REMAINS A WHITE ELEPHANT THINGS. |
Re: Federal Government Approves $3.9bn For Warri Seaport by hammerFC: 6:48pm On May 11, 2019 |
HOW CAN NIGERIA, HAVE A MASSIVE COASTLNE AND ALL THE DEEP SEAPORT WILL BE IN LAGOS? LAGOS ALONE HAS 4 TO 5 DEEP SEAPORTS AND THE ENTIRE SS HAS ZERO. EVEN ONDO, DESERVE A DEEP SEAPORT. I HOPE THIS IS NOT ANOTHER INLAND PORT IN WARRI, ELSE THAT PRICE IS TOO MUCH. WAT THE SS NEEDS IS A DEEP SEAPORT ON THE COASTLINE. 1 Like |

lexy2014: Go read the depth charts on NPA website. They simply didnt care to use it maybe security or facts its mainly for flat bottom vessels. NPA dredged channel recently. The port isnt closed maybe you mean underutilized. http://nigerianports.gov.ng/delta/ http://nigerianports.gov.ng/delta/beth-characteristics/ |

Blue3k: I DONT BELIEVE THIS UR PROPAGANDA. IT IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY THAT BUHARI WILL BUILD ANY PORT IN THE SOUTH, WEN HE IS STILL BUILDING PORT IN THE NORTH. FURTHER, THE NEWS WAS TOO BRIEF, WITH NO DETAIL AND QUICKLY COVERED WITH TALKS OF RAILWAY. U PEOPLE SHOULD TAKE IT EASY WITH FAKE NEWS. |
Re: Federal Government Approves $3.9bn For Warri Seaport by hammerFC: 6:58pm On May 11, 2019 |
SS/SE HAVE SURVIVED ALL THIS YEARS WITHOUT DEEP SEAPORT. WE WILL SURVIVE ANOTHER 10-20 YEARS, BUT THE GREEDY YORUBA WILL CONTINUE TO CRY ABOUT IMMIGRANT IN LAGOS. AS THEY SAY, NO REST FOR THE WICKED. 1 Like |

Blue3k:Pls read my post again & c how I used d word "closed". lexy2014: D info on d links u have provided doesn't say d port is shallow or deep. What u should have done was to provide d minimum dimension of what u will consider a deep sea port& compare with d dimension of Warrior port |
Re: Federal Government Approves $3.9bn For Warri Seaport by Blue3k(m): 7:03pm On May 11, 2019 |
[s] hammerFC:[/s] You're an ipob you dont believe anything unless Kanu said. Yes think a government website is carrying fake news. There's multiple papers confirming story snd its already been 3 days since story was published without a denial. Lol if you want a long winded article go find one. What makes you think dry ports in north will stop construction of seaports in south? Lekki Ibom and Badagry are already in pipeline. lexy2014: Why dont you look yourself? Compare warri to the other ports. Then compare depth to the ones they're building. You'll cleary see its shallow. Deep seaports need to be 12 meters at least and preferably a mandate panamax vessels. |
Re: Federal Government Approves $3.9bn For Warri Seaport by hammerFC: 7:05pm On May 11, 2019 |
Blue3k: UR FIRST COMMENT WAS UNNECESSARY AND OFF POINT. TRY NOT TO DERAIL THE THREAD. I CAN AUTHORITATIVELY TELL U, THAT BUHARI WILL NOT BUILD EVEN A BLOCK IN WARRI BEFORE 2023. BUHARI IS BUSY WITH PORT PROJECT IN THE NORTH AND RAILWAY. |
Re: Federal Government Approves $3.9bn For Warri Seaport by hammerFC: 7:08pm On May 11, 2019 |
Blue3k: ASIDE, WAT TYPE OF PORT ARE WE TALKING ABOU HERE? IS IT A DEEP SEAPORT OR ANOTHER WATER WAY PORT IN WARRI? |
Re: Federal Government Approves $3.9bn For Warri Seaport by hammerFC: 7:10pm On May 11, 2019 |
THIS IS THE PICTURE OF PRESENT DAY, WATER WAY PORT IN WARRI. WARRI IS AN OIL PRODUCING AREA. YET FRATERMATHY AND EFEWESTERN WILL LEAVE THIS INJUSTICE AND BE TALKING OFF POINT. (MAKE TRIBALISM HELP UNA TO BE WISER AND NOT STUPID, BUT FOR NOW, UNA TRIBALISM NA STUPID/SENSELESS ONE.) THEY COMPLAIN OF UNEMPLOYMENT BUT NEVER BRAVE ENOUGH TO DEMAND INDUSTRIES IN THEIR CITIES.

Re: Federal Government Approves $3.9bn For Warri Seaport by lexy2014: 7:12pm On May 11, 2019 |
Blue3k: Y should I? U are d one who said d port is shallow& u insisted that it is. If u say for instance a Benz is less fuel efficient compared 2a Toyota, then u have 2do a comparative analysis. If u can't do that, then there's no need 2 make ur claim |
Re: Federal Government Approves $3.9bn For Warri Seaport by hammerFC: 7:16pm On May 11, 2019 |
lexy2014: AFONJA, THERE ARE NO PORTS IN THE ENTIRE SS BECOS GREEDY YORUBA LIKE URSELF, INSIST ON KEEPING EVERYTHING IN LAGOS AND BE COLLECTING ALL OUR MONEY. EVEN THOUGH THE MONEY USED TO BUILD THEM CAME FROM SS. THE WARRI RIVER PORT REQUIRES REGULAR DREDGING LIKE THAT IN ONITSHA. WARRI WATERWAY PORT IS VERY SHALLOW.

hammerFC: Ok ipob buhari wont allow this project because kanu told you. The project been approved and there's already seaports in pipeline. Who cares if buhari doesnt finish project the next government will complete it. Jonathan approved ibom deep seaport and now it fell to next administration to finish work. • projects north dont stop project in south • the news isnt propaganda because kanu didnt inform you. • Buhari gave permission and Anaechi is carrying out projects. lexy2014: Weird even with depth chart in your face you still dont get it. Ok I'll privide you will the links so you can read. If you dont see the difference after this theres no helping you. http://nigerianports.gov.ng/delta/beth-characteristics/ http://nigerianports.gov.ng/tincan/berth-characteristics/ 2 Likes 1 Share |

Blue3k: I THINK U ARE HERE TO SPREAD LIES AND PROPAGANDA FOR BUHARI GOVERNMENT BUT I WILL NOT WASTE MY TIME FURTHER WITH U. I BELIEVE THE PEOPLE READIND THIS THREAD, HAVE A BRAIN AND KNOW WEN THEY ARE BEING SOLD A DREAM. NOTHING FOR WARRI, TILL 2023. AND IF IT IS ANOTHER WATERWAY PORT, THEN IT MEANS AMAECHI AND BUHARI WANT TO LOOT ONTOP WARRI PEOPLE HEAD. BECOS 2 BILLION DOLLARS FOR ANOTHER WATERWAY PORT IS EXCESSIVE AND WASTEFUL. THEY ARE STILL WASTING MONEY DREDGING THE FIRST WATERWAY PORT IN WARRI. |

[s] hammerFC:[/s] Ok IPOB continue whining. Lol its all propaganda until kanu says different. Ok the project been approved so they'll take next steps concessioning it like the others. Lol they're going to loot 2 billion dollars based on paranoid delusions? I guess thats shat they do where you're from when they announce big projects im guessing. What's the correct pdice for a deep seaport can your crew do for less? Lol yeah the other ports are shallow good then ibom deep seaport in naturally deep. 1 Like |

[/s] COME BACK WITH PICTURES OF CONSTRUCTION AND DETAIL ABOUT WAT TYPE OF PORT IT IS. SAVE UR PROMISES FOR THE GOAT. THERE ARE SO MANY UNFULFILED PROMISES FROM BUHARI AND APC FROM 2015, ADDING MORE TILL 2023, WILL NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE. |
Re: Federal Government Approves $3.9bn For Warri Seaport by Blue3k(m): 7:51pm On May 11, 2019 |
hammerFC: Ok ipob you can disbelieve until kanu instructs you differently. Jonathan approved Ibom deep seaport months before he left office hen left work for next administration. There's always the next administration. There's always a gap between approval and construction you can see lekki deep seaport as proof or even the rail projects. 1 Like |
