Igalas in the northern axis are mostly muslims, but not with an overwhelming majority. Dekina, Ofu, Omala and Idah are a 50/50 or christians are more. Ankpa is the only place with a clear muslim majority and since it arguably has the largest population among all LGAs in Igala land, it makes northern Igala like 60% muslim. But southern Igala is like 90% christian. Infact it is so christian that in a place like Ibaji LGA, you will never find a mosque in so many communities.
