Afrobeat artist, Seun Kuti, has reacted to Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu's move as he considers growing Marijuana for commercial purpose in the state.

The state governor who is currently in Thailand to understudy the process, got alot of Nigerians excited when he announed his plans on social media yesterday.

Seun Kuti in his reaction said,

'ehn Mr excellency sir, if u want me to move to your state, just say so. This beating about the bush is unnecessary. Afrobeat is about to switch home base y’all. Just imagine one good joint for my back ache then better Ondo pounded yam to heal my stomach pain'.

This means access to quality marijuana, not all those ones dried under direct sunlight that would have lost more than half of their THC.

So, is Marijuana now legal in Nigeria? If Marijuana is to be cultivated commercially, care must be taken to ensure it's uses are only medicinal and curative. But trust Nigerians it will pose a serious threat. Leakages would be so heavy they can undermine the sanity of our country and incur international wrath and sanctions.

If the state intends to make an industry out of medical marijuana, then it ought to develop a framework that'll make the industry lucrative.

Besides, hope people will not get into problems with NDLEA and EFCC later as these agencies supersede every state?

A good idea. It's a waste of time prohibiting a crop that could boost revenue.
