I'm also just realizing that Mass AIR FLOW SENSOR also has it's owns Parts number on crested on it.

That each car has its own MAF that compatible with it dependent on the numbers on it.

And mechanics always told me that the usual way to purchase airflow is to go to the markets they are being sold, then start testing AIR FLOW sensors one by one.
Then the one that finally works for your vehicle is the right one.

Guy's is there a way to determine the right MASS AIR FLOW SENSORS and OXYGEN SENSOR for your vehicle using PART NUMBER's on them?

I’m a proud owner of 1997 w202 c230 bought exactly 7 years, 1 month, two weeks and few days ago. It was my first car. I got it against the advice of people around me and I did not regret for a second that decision. I had Peugeot 406 , Toyota Corolla and 1998-2000 Honda Accord as top contenders. This thread and the top players here then influenced my choice. There is hardly a day I would not have to drive this car and it have never slept at mechanic workshop except for an occasion when I bumped on a ridge and the transmission oil pan got broken with oil leaking that resulted to fry TCU that shut the car into limp home modeThe replacement took 3 days because the part had to be sourced outside my area.

I drove Toyota Venza, 03/04 Corolla and Honda Accord 05 at a point, not the owner, none of them come in comparison to my old Benz in term of handling and stability on the road. Some of my close relative got Benz when they saw how mine has been a true servant.

What have I changed? Engine oil (I used total quartz 9000) every 12 months, air flow meter 3 times the latest was this morning angry , coil 4 times, TCU, plugs occasionally, transmission oil 3 times, absorbers and brake pads. I have not had to open the engine for any reason and the car is still in top form despite everyday use and flogging. I smile sometimes when some cars of the same class and a step higher wanted to drag race with me on highway. I would even be taunting some drivers on the road and allow them to have a victory when I know what would take me to beat the is a kick down.

Now I need to upgrade but I’m still keeping that legend. Here is my request, which year of w203 and brand can you recommend that would be as reliable and rugged as my w202?
C320 2005.

Ya O2 sensors Are more important in fuel economy because every combustion engine need oxygen to work optimally and if the sensors are bad... The engineer would not combust well....

Get someone competent to run thorough diagnostic on that car before you part with your cash so as not to end up with a lemon. A lot of things need to be monitored and professionally checked by someone seasoned in that area.

I'm looking to change the rear lights on a w166 ML to GLE lights and would prefer to reprogram the applicable parameter ( change the current threshold) instead of installing resistors; for the error cancelation.

Has anyone used Vediamo for error cancelation? please point me in the direction of someone who can do this or has the software & associated tools

Lol, for this thread? I suggest you visit a real Mercedes Benz specialist. Most people here are end users or basic techs. I doubt you'd find any REAL enthusiasts or hobbyists . . . . na them dey enter that kyn lane.

Meanwhile did you eventually get the 550 ? would be nice to see pictures.
Owned a BMWX5 Competition . . .faster, more aggressive, more fun . . . . . Butetetetetete. . . . There's just something about post 2013 Mercedes SUVS that you can't ignore smiley.

You lack the philosophy of Benz ownership. While we're not going to condemn your econobox ... You should have respect for yourself on this Mercedes Benz street. He who drives a w124 is also a Benz owner. It takes a slowpoke. to call other people's choice of car made based upon their personal parameters relics. Respect yourself sir.

The only parameter i know that will make a person prefer an older model of a car to a newer one is money, stop fooling yourself thinking you are fooling me or anyone for that matter.

You guys are always comparing apples to oranges. How can you be comparing Venza, a front-wheel drive SUV/crossover to a rear-wheel-drive C-class with low ground clearance that was built for drifting in balance?

Will you compare the balance of Mercedes G-wagon to Camry spider? Even if you don't know anything, won't common sense tell you that Camry's center of gravity is closer to the ground and thus will be more balanced at corners than G-wagon?

Why didn't you compare your C-class to a Toyota Supra or Lexus Gs or Toyota Celica?

Comparing Corolla that was made very narrow and high off the ground for people going for work with a leisure/drifting car?

See if you want to compare, you should be comparing the first-generation Mercedes A-class (the one that was recalled for somasulting for no reason and ultimately failing moose test) to a Toyota Corolla. These two are in the same class and built for the same purpose and Toyota Corolla has never failed moose test or somasulted abnormally. Same cannot be said for the Mercedes.

That's a moronic assumption. My Australian boss drives a 1989 Corolla... He must be poor by your parochial and narrow standards... For your information his basic income is above 2 million per month....
