Doing which wonders in NHS? They are just doing their regular jobs.. what they are paid to do. And over there the people twill not tolerate the bullshit they do here. You work very hard. Go and ask any doctor who relocated they will tell you they are on their toes most of the times. Long work hours, huge work volume and you dare not complain. So many things wrong all around. You are a graduate, and a Dr treated you and you dont know his name or describe him well? You know the camp rules, why didn't you get a letter from the Camp hospital before leaving camp for a better hospital? Or arrange to be taken somewhere else? All the periods of wait in between is way too much. Yes we have quacks all over the place, that is why you are educated. There are so many things that is common sense. As stupid as i am, if a doctor writes a medication for me, i will be asking him why he wrote that medication? what does it do? what is wrong with me? etc, i won't just carry medicine and swallow... Also, if a Dr wants to inject me, i will ask questions. Yes it has gotten me in trouble when i was younger in Year 3 or so and the Dr was angry that i was questioning his authority, i had him reported cos it was a staff hospital and he diagnosed me very quickly and casually wrote medication and just got rid of me so to speak. Well, solution at this point is to go to a "teaching hospital" and tell your story.

U claimed your problem started a day to passing out after taking a meal, most likely u suffered food poisoning, the choice of flagyl and ciprofloxacin wont be totally out of place for symptomatic treatment considering that you don't have standard lab in the camp.
Also u claimed the police officer at the gate turned u back, if were truly a Corp member, u ought to know the procedure for exiting the camp.
U also said u couldn't collect your posting letter on the day of passing out cos u were at the clinic, that sounds ridiculous, u mean u missed d opportunity to leave the camp cos u wanted to be attended to in the same clinic that u didn't have confidence in.
Lastly your LI lacks the power to summon Corp members serving in other LGAs.
Besides if the doc claimed he could not remember the injection, I believe the NYSc would have inventory of drugs supplied at the camp and the list won't be endless.

It could be ulcer which was poorly managed by your doctors at the camp. Some of your explanations appear to be what I have been through. Increase heart beat, reflux or heart burn, Severe chest pain, pains at the ribs sides. Check the hospital and request for serious check up. It will be well with you.

I had a similar experience when I was serving as well. I dont know why they allow corp member who has just finished school without wlany pratical experience to be administering drugs at the camp. The scar I have till date in my arm.

Did Nigeria as a country has inventory of the citizens. You will be shocked that they dont have the inventory because some people has stolen from it to be sold at the black market.

Op, I believe the pain will pass and you will forget you once had it. While I was in the uni. I was exposed to something i was not sure of but it changed everything for me, I lost interest in life pins and needle and burning sensation in my body, also had muscle spasm all over my body I couldn't concentrate in school almost had carry over but I don't know how everything managed to subside after going to several hospitals without any diagnosis. Just live a healthy life and you will be fine. In all my trials in some very severe pains suicide never crossed my mind because I know eternal pain will definitely be worse, so I don't want to commit a sin that I can't repent from. OP, visit a teaching hospital to see a Neurologist for your problem, which from your description, sounds like a neurological disease. They may check your vertebrae and spinal cord to ensure the problem isn't coming from there.

There is also a consideration for delayed onset progressive muscular dystrophy from the signs and symptoms you described.

I hope you abstain from those magnesium concoctions as they may cause more harm to your nerves when you don't have means gauge the plasma level during use.
