when foreigners come to Nigeria
They are surprised when they see our police use ak47 on a normal day

Most civilized countries use pistol aka short gun aka hand gun

Other countries only use ak47 for war

Or when there is a huge crime and they call their swat team etc

Why do our police choose to use ak47 grin

Growing up in Nigeria, I thought it was normal
But recently I was having a discussion with my Cameroonian friend and he was amazed when he visited Nigeria

He was like wtf? Lol grin

That's shows the level of discipline in nigeria
That our police use a gun they use for serious crime in other nations, to handle normal day life in our great, sexy, unique country cool smiley

Without proper monitoring
Ability to follow shell casing trails.
Improper forensic science
.....long story short, if you give the Nigerian police hand guns a lot of innocent people will due by accidental discharge..... Also the police will rent out most of those guns to thieves.

Let it not surprise u that the average kidnappers or armed robbers in Nigeria don't use pistols, pistols are for young purse/phone snatchers and cultists,I have been in a bank when robbers came in Nigeria, they have ak47e,gpmg,hand grenades, dynamites and RPG antitank rockets.tell me if police is armed with pistols how can they respond.
