JustMellow:

This application looks direct and simple, and for the VO to have scrutinize it and sent you for a medical means the application meets the eligibility requirements, but this might not be the case if this application should be passed to another VO. So, in your next reapplication, try to build more on the aspect of home ties. If possible, include your own personal bank statement too.

My curiosity: why submit 4 bank account statements? If you don't mind me asking; what banks, closing balance, any lump sum deposit?

Also, did you or your dad call the banks to verify if the VO called, and what details was asked?

My advise:

Most times such as this scenario, the generic letter might not contain an intention of a possible ban and to be on a safe end, request for your gcms notes ASAP so to see what exact information is contained in the notes. Don't be tempted to reapply without seeing the notes.

Also, try to apply with either 1 or 2 bank statements. Then other financial documents or fix deposit (if any) can be use as supporting financial document(s).

PS: am eager to get answers to the asked questions.

All the best!
HI can you please check ur mail

Hello house, Good day to everyone. I have been reading threads from way back and still following the current discussion on here but my challenge is that I can’t find a Master program for myself yet. I graduated from the university and my course of study was educational management/mathematics , i would like to study a masters degree relating to this in canada. i have done IELTS but my overall band is 6.0 . Please can any one assist me with a cheap school that will accept my score and offer me something related to this field , thank you all for your suggestion.
Check University of Saskatchewan, they offer Educational administration & Educational leadership.

University of Regina offers Educational leadership.

University of British Columbia offers Educational administration and leadership as well.

Regards

Oga Makano, that means I have to pay another biometric fees. is that correct sir

Chukwuemekatehi:
I think that policy started in 2018. He needs a Biometrics.

makano:
Yes u have to pay for another Biometrics since u did the last one in 2016.. The one u did in 2016 is not qualified to be valid for 10 years.. The 10 years stuff started from July 2018... Please be informed, and ignore all posts telling u not to pay for another Biometrics.. You can go to the CIC website to get more info on this subject... Peace

The applicant is NOT required to pay a biometrics fees again. The biometrics information the applicant submitted in his previous application dated 2016 is valid until 2026. Unless the applicant is going for a permanent residence of Canada that's when he will be required to submit his fingerprint the second time at VAC.

Please note---------- that I know countless of applicants who had their last biometrics done before July, 2018 when the law of biometrics been valid for 10 years was implemented and got approval without having to redo a fresh biometrics.

What does your online profile say? I am sure it has been updated to approved.
So in few days your passport will be ready for collection.
No need to worry...

i got a mail from cic that a decision has been made on my application yesterday even copying lagos that my passport be dispatched to me but no word yet from vfs.
Can i just walk in tomorrow to request for my passport?
or do i wait for vfs to send me a request/
Normally VFS will send you an email asking you to go for your passport. But if you have spare time you can always check up on them to ask(you might be lucky to find your passport ready for collection)

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by ca12: 1:50pm On Aug 08, 2019
Ok thanks
Just says application has been finalized.

So maybe I would just wait for vfs to send me a mail for collection or cic to send me an approval mail.
I m just confused on what *application has been finalized* means

APPLICATION REFUSED

@ makano frankrobbn justmellow ralfudoh and all other Gurus in the house who understand this note attached below can share.

My study visa application was refused June 28th last two months and I immediately requested for gcms note that is attached in the image.

Timeline
Application submitted - May 30th
Background Check - June 7
Review of Eligibility - June 25th
Final decision - June 28th

On 26th of June I received Biometrics validation correspondence, so I kinda knew what was next.

BASIS OF REFUSAL
Just one reason was stated in the refusal notice which was based on PERSONAL ASSETS AND FINANCIAL Status.

Immediately I saw the refusal, I contacted the school for a deferment to winter intake which unfortunately was not available, they have just one intake for the 1year fall program. They guaranteed admission but I just have to pay application fee, University of Prince Edward Island. It's was difficult for me getting an admission to different schools applied to because of my GPA of 3.3/5.

Now I am looking forward to securing admission for winter intake which has bin challenging.

Documents/Funds Submitted include - Birth certificate, siblings document, parents documents, letter from Dad (Sponsor), landed property documents, my nysc certificate, British project management academy certificate, CAC documents for Sponsors business, my employment letter and other necessary documents.

Financials
Total funds needed - Tuition and other expenses - $7,800CAD
My account closing balance - #5,000, 000
Sponsors closing balance of naira account - #10, 000,000with domicilary account of $15,000USD

How can this note be addressed. Thank you, further clarifications can be enquired.

NOTE DETAILS

Which course please as I equally find it hard getting masters admission in canada.. and I'll like to PM you bro

4 bank statements because he didn't want to move them to just one to avoid lump sum.
Banks Access bank : 2m closing balace
UBA bank 3 different accounts ,Naira x Dollar, 1m,8m, 26k$ each. There was no lump sum. We contacted the branch but didn't inquire if the Vo called.
And also including my personal Acct statement, I am currently on internship. I don't get paid. So I didn't see any need to attach my bank statement. I concluded nysc in November 2018. Started internship January 2019 in a family friends engineering firm. I am 23yrs of age.

Okay, i understand now. But do the needful by requesting for you notes.

Hi guys. Please can someone who graduated with a third class in Banking and Finance get admitted for an MSc in Canada?

The person is also open to doing a Post Graduate Diploma if an MSc isn't possible. Please could recommend schools which she could try out?

Please guys I need your inputs.

Thanks

For Paper applicants who linked their application, I have a question...…

Since I linked my paper application, the status of that application on my account home page has been showing submitted. Is it normal?
Will it ever go to processing or would that be the next time there is an update?

It is perfectly normally for every IRCC Application including Permanent Residency Applications to show submitted as the current status. When there is an update on the account, the status will change to Application/Profile Updated

Sorry about your refusal. You know the drill. Apply for your GCMS notes, drop the refusal reasons and your profile and you would be advised appropriately.
