Please advise
My spouse visiting visa expires Oct 21 can she renew by September 21.
Lastly I note that if anyone experienced lengthy delay on your visa decision there is 80% chances that it will be refused….from experience ooooo
This is untrue.

Yes your spouse can.

The highlighted isn't true in any form.

You will have to wait o... unless you paid for priority service. I know they try to attend to people with closer travel dates though so you might get a decision soon.
I stand with what Nchabuomo has said to you, so tarry on.Today is the 8th of September and if it is already under processing so it may well
come out week of the13th.
Fingers crossed for you.

I disagree.
My first visa took more than 40 working days and I wasn't denied.

Same here, mine was almost 1 month after my travel date and still I wasn't denied.

Thanks a lot for the insight.
All visa applications and documents are submitted electronically. If he applies, he will have a profile to upload these documents... so yes scanned copies. There is no submission of hard copy anywhere
You need to explore what ties your brother has to Nigeria. Without been seen to have adequate ties to Nigeria, he cnt get a visa as they see all applicants as potential overstayers until proven otherwise.
It is not just enough reason for you to say ‘you want to open his passport’ as there are several countries he can go to besides UK to do this.
Point is , get purpose of trip and ties to Nigeria sorted.

From my little experience on this lovely forum let your hubby transfer the money into your account and let him write a sponsorship letter stated amount he sent, date, time and the purpose of the fund, with this no need to submit his bank account or payslips .

Well said. Does the hubby need to provide his employment documents to show source of income?

Let the money be in your account and show proofs of the source of your husband’s money.
U can provide payslips + sponsorship letter + his employment documents + his work id+ marriage certificate+ other proofs of relationship between yourselves .... if he will still have a substantial amount in his account after the money he wants to transfer to you, then by all means also add his statement of account.
Also if you can reduce your budget a bit, pls do

To avoid story of the gods eco can see inappropriate things in your hubby bank statement which can affect your application, have seen many people who their sponsored transferred the funds to their account and the sponsor writing a sponsorship letter stated the amount he sent, date, time and what the money for without submitted the sponsor bank statement or payslips ..... Although I'm not aguru but talking from experience what have seen on this forum

Let see other people who have been in this kind of shoe should please contribute so we can help

They just said they would escalate my case to the relevant department and i'd be contacted soon. It tool 2 days to get a response from them.

I did neither. My application was standard and regular.
