I don't understand the essence of this post. All I can see there is a dirty floor which we can see in every other public toilet, even in an office. We don't know the time this pic was taken, or how many have used the toilet at that time of the day. I think we delight pleasure in things like this, cos the energy and dedication this person spent in taking this pics, he could have called the attention of the cleaners to mop the floor.

It’s NOT even from the new Abuja Airport terminal...
The video below shows clearly a different brand of facilities.

Must Nigerians criticize everything? Taking pictures of everything they see for jesting on social media?
If a government could build such airport, then at what cost does it take to keep the restroom and other minor facilities clean. Probably at the moment cleaners were not in place to keep the place tidy does not mean that's how the place ever be, till now, and ever shall it be. Nigerians and social media are the real problem of this country and why the international communities see and count us as nothing, every little thing we snap pictures and push ourselves out to the world. Probably something like this is happening in the UK and the US but we can't see it on social media make us think they are all perfect than we do.

This is not true, those are not the kind of sanitary wares in the new terminal.

Nairaland is becoming a junk forum.

A better question here is why make-up a FAKE story just to criticize (see from 0:50 of the video below)...
As the saying goes, if you keep calling your mother a garden-tool don’t be surprised if others call you a bastard!

Thank you so much for this comments, as a matter of fact I will call this social media madness/stupidity cos Nigerian will never say anything good about their country, they snap every bad/negative things they see, are they jobless or what? just asking, what's the big deal about that toilet? can't it be clean? probably it's not happening in the US/UK because they will continue to criticize bad things among themselves. We should not relent in cautioning ourselves towards good achievements. It's not a problem of Nigerian and social media, it's about what's not good doesn't have two names.... IT'S NOT GOOD.

What about the users themselves, the men stand a mile away and aim their piss, littering the whole place while the women tell their kids to do it on the floor then they pack and dispose into the toilet

Some use and don't flush and another set comes and say

..me I no fit flush for another, so they do number 2 on top of the already deposited number 2

I don't blame them, social media gave voice to the voiceless. Other cou tries face their own issues too. I've seen toilet facilities closed down in the UK train station because of no water but that doesn't mean it's how it is. We need to reorientate ourselves in this country shaa.

As a facility manager for over 2 decade working for Global entities, I believe the facility maintenance of most major facilities in Nigeria i. E airport, should be concessioned to FOREIGN companies and NOT to the girlfriend or sister in law of a major politician. While most countries are using mechanised equipments that can get the job done quickly, we are still using BUCKET AND MOP.

Thank you. The proper thing to do is simply alert the management of the airport that the rest room is not user friendly but no, baba wants to trend.
