Aside from the cancer sympathy, I never rated Abidal as such a good defender to start with

You have to enjoy the soap opera between Lewandoski and BVB boss Watzke

Bild reports Lewandowski's agents will show proof that Watzke is a liar, Lewy only speaks to BVB through a lawyer anymore and he doesn't want to go back there

Like Rummenige said in march

If BVB decided not to let Lewandowski go, would you respect that decision?

Kalle: "We haven't changed our stance on this topic. We are not going to negotiate with Dortmund about a transfer. Watzke recently said something about a poker table. At the moment he's sitting alone at that table..."

And you?

Kalle: "We're sitting in the room next door watching tv. Very relaxed."

Dortmund have nothing to gain and everything to lose! We could gladly wait till January and Dortmund would lose on all sides should they not sell Lewandowski and get it over with before pre-season comes

Even if he wants Abidal it can be vetoed not that I believe Pep actually wants Abidal anyway! Van Buyten is still much much better than Abidal dealing with liver issues

this Pele is a stinking old fool. Would it cost him his ba!ls if he accepts that we are the best in the world presently?

By the way wat does he know about champions league and European football? If he's wise enough, he should me more concentrated on showering unmerited praises on Neymar.

Bruv that's a good thing! Thank goodness Pele doesn't think we are the best in the world or even Europe at least we have the trophies to prove it. The last thing we need is a sycophant like Pele who actually is the ultimate jinx lol if you meet Pele for road and he tell you make you go left please go right! Once Pele declares something the opposite happens! Infact if Pele says something good about a player that player is finished! Godwin Okpara,Nii Lamptey,Freddy Adu are all still cursing the day Pele discovered them!

Lool the same Pele that said an African Nation would win the WC before the end of the millennium! Till 2100 no African country might win the WC because Pele is a jinx like that

In Brazil they always place a gag order on him before any major tournament because when he speaks the opposite happens

He's just a symbol of negativity and seems to be erratic all the time. He won three world cups and I think he was just lucky, just lucky.

Saw on goal.com that we have secured the signature of Jan Kirchoof(22) from M' Gladbach. No more Kolcieny saga.

Call him a gas-bag, agbaya, baddu belle, jinx, onisokuso, and whatever - justification abounds aplenty for all those. But to say he was lucky to have been a successful footballer bothers on the ridiculous! undecided

Do you think Pele would have been (so lucky) a successful player if he played for England or France? In his time, the Brazil team was star studded. Could he had led a team single handedly to a world cup triumph like Amando did?

Scolari once said if you are going to a tournament assemble your team and ask Pele. Whoever Pele thinks should be striker should be made Goalie and vice versa so you can win.

Some entertainment below

10) China 2002

Pele Prediction: China will qualify for the next round from their 2002 World Cup group.

Outcome: China finish bottom of Group C with no wins, no draws, no points, no goals, as well as -9 in their goal-difference column.

9) Spain 1998

Pele Prediction: Spain are favourites for the 1998 World Cup in France.

Outcome: Spain humiliatingly dumped out in the first round after losing to Nigeria, and drawing with Paraguay.

cool Colombia To Live American Dream

Pele Prediction: Colombia will win the 1994 World Cup in the USA.

Outcome: Colombia exit the competition in the first round, finishing bottom of their group. Their defender Andres Escobar is also tragically shot dead by an angry fan after Colombia return home.

7) Argentina, France & World Cup 2002

Pele Prediction: Argentina & France will both reach the final.

Outcome: Both countries eliminated in the first round, France without even scoring a goal.

6) Escape To Victory

Pele Prediction: During the famous film starring Sylvester Stallone and Michael Caine, Allies star Pele is brutally fouled in the first half by the Nazi opponents. The injured Brazilian claims there is no way he can continue and is carried off. The Allies are 4-0 down, and a recovery is deemed impossible.

Outcome: Pele returns in the second half and inspires his team to an improbable comeback, even scoring a stunning bicycle kick. Even in fiction, Pele's predictions go wrong.

5) Ronaldo Is Finished
Pele Prediction: Ronaldo will never play football again, and his career is over, following a serious injury for Milan in February 2008.

Outcome: Ronaldo returns in March 2009 for Corinthians, scoring 10 goals in his first 14 games to win the Campeonato Paulista. Rumoured to be on the verge of a national team recall.
4) Nii Lamptey – ‘The New Pele’

Pele Prediction: After starring in the 1991 Under-17 World Cup, which also featured Alessandro Del Piero, Pele proclaims Ghana youngster Lamptey as his successor, ‘The New Pele’.

Outcome: What happens next goes down in football infamy. Lamptey spectacularly fails to fulfil his talent, believing himself that he was cursed by dark forces. The midfielder shifts around clubs such as PSV, Aston Villa, Coventry, Venezia and Ankaragucu, without success, and endures tragedy in his personal life, as two of his children die.

3) Nicky Barmby - Up There With Zidane, Maldini & Ronaldo

Pele Prediction: Nicky Barmby will become a world class star.

Outcome: Nicky Barmby becomes nothing more than an average player, winning 23 England caps, and never even appearing in a World Cup.

2) Africa Will Rule

Pele Prediction: An African nation will win the World Cup before the year 2000.

Outcome: It is now 2009, and an African country has still yet to get past the quarter-final.

1) Brazil & World Cup 2002

Pele Prediction: Brazil won’t even get past the group stages.

Outcome: Brazil win the World Cup.

Haha, how convenient for you to say that.

So dem Ruggeri, Voldano, Batista, et al were inconsequential in Argentina's triumph abi?

Lol was there ever one? Kirchoff has been issued the squad #6 and was betrothed to Bayern since January! Apparently a certain douche called Pataki still thinks Bayern are after Kosileyin! Despite the fact that we now have 4 CB's excluding Badstuber who is a long term absentee

Lordave: He's just a symbol of negativity and seems to be erratic all the time. He won three world cups and I think he was just lucky, just lucky.
The guy is just suffering from chronic inferiority complex! At his age he should be an elder statesmen commanding respect from all and sundry
Pele was good but make no bones about it he had plenty of help. Garrincha,Vava,Carlos Alberto,Tostao,Rivelino! That team was All-star caliber! They where like the Harlem Globetrotters back in the day
