Honestly it wasn't funny for me, but one lesson you must learn in QA is how to let go. But try to always reserve your long calls, you may not be lucky next time. I still sulking.

Me, I'm sulking because someone else claimed a 54min call I just saw on the dashboard. I'd have just used that one to close shop for today... embarassed

Thanks for this.
Please, how long does it take for reviews to come through?

Can't say for sure. But keep monitoring your profile till it gets reviewed.

Thanks for this. I just got an email to edit the work for some corrections. Please do you have any idea on how I can go about that?

Please help.

What is the correct punctuation for a statement like this:
1. Are you accepting this offer yes or no
2. Please provide me with these details, your name, your address and today's date

Thanks, it's urgent.

2. Should be correct after adding a period.

This QA is hard mehn! How do you guys do it so effortlessly? Been on it since last week and I've only had two rated at 3. Others are just 1s and 2s, and I've been transcribing for over a year now on crowdsurf. It's crazy! Just $2 made after about 80 hours of transcription. Wow! Una dey try oh.

Lol.. Na just a matter of time.

Adehwale, dats how it normally is at the beginning. U will surely struggle when u just joined (Lol, just like Hazard), but just give it time.

Some of us were even kicked out because of low rating but we all got better at it over time.

Heed the advice o... Same thing happened to me this morning. As is my custom, I'd claim a call and leave it some hours before I settle down to work. But today was a different case. I came after about 3hrs to start working on the job, only to find the job had been released.

If you claim a call and you intend to leave for any reason, ensure you use the prevent inactivity button
. I'm not pained, because, I'd not started working on the call yet... cool
Lol.. you no lose.
But yeah, I get what you are saying.

Though that prevent inactivity Timeout button hasn't been of much use to me, cos I leave calls overnight a lot, especially long ones , my calls have never expired, I don't know if it's just luck or whatever.
They started yesterday or so.

When it happened to me yesterday i almost shed tears.

But i think it's for the best.

Now, if you pick a call but don't want to use your relates token they will help you make it expire.

Read your rating notes. Those are the most important things.

Also, for the 1s and 2s, they provide passing transcript examples ie examples of transcripts by someone who did the same job and got 3- 5 rating.

Go through it and compare both jobs. You'll know where you erred.

We all felt overwhelmed too when we started. Some of us even lost accounts and had to start again.

For those who complained about starting a work all over again after spending several hours on it. This is what happened; you changed browser. When you start a work with Chrome, for example, end it in chrome. Don't go and continue in an Opera mini. This is applied to either phone or laptop. If you start a work on a laptop, finish it on a laptop. Don't ever continue on a phone.

Don't come here again and start wailing of starting a job all over again, please.
I've decided to enlighten you guys more.
