Speak for yourself, I know many of my friends in America that owns Various Houses there.
The only time a Nigerian will own various houses in America is when they steal from Nigeria and go buy there or involved in shady dealings. America is a debt pit. A 30 yrs debt sentence for a carton box house. You know nothing man. You just confirm yourself as one of the brainwashed

Candace Owens is full of nothing and is just a sycophant of the Republican Party (the party of Teapartiers and Trump, who desperately say the most racist and ignorant things) to divide and conquer. My people, please don't fall for this drivel that's targeted to make Nigerian-Americans seem important than other Africans, at home and the diaspora. Every immigrant works hard in this well-contrived plantation. Anyone whose sovereignty and values have not been emasculated by many years of suppressive lies, oppressive justice system, and exploitative policies, and who's at liberty to go elsewhere to seek better opportunities and can reconnect with their ancestral land, will have the confidence do well. Relatively speaking, Nigerian-Americans are not the most successful immigrants or Africans, by virtue of our population. Yes, Nigerians go to school, but not many develop a mindset to initiate solutions that help Nigeria. Rather, they go work for the big-brand corporations and government that exploit Nigeria. The disparity between the haves and the have-nots in Nigeria continues to widen while our Nigerian-American educated ones give their knowledge to the massa. Africa will remain a politically and developmentally dysfunctional nation, until all Blacks begin to uplift each other to high standards. All Ms. Owens is doing is play Uncle Tom for the GOP to try to woo some 2-goody-shoes Blacks to their party of bigotry. Is it not the same Republican Party, under Andrew Johnson, that reneged on the promises made by Lincoln to compensate emancipated slaves with 40 acres and a mule? Is it not the same Republicans who conspired to impede high-ranking Black members who did not meet their "Lily White" criteria? Is it not the same Republican Party that filibustered to undermine the Civil Rights and Voting Rights Bill? Is it not the same Republicans that got in the way of Obama's great ideas, who are now looking the other way from Trump's umpteenth travesties? Abegi, make she park well and shut up. Nigerians or Nigerian-Americans don't need anyone's validations about how hard we work. Rather, we'd like to be seen as achievers and charitable back home.

Its always good to have roots, if black Americans trace their origin and live in that land for sometime, they'll get some influence such that when they go back to America, they won't be playing victims...if you're deep rooted in your country, even if you find yourself anywhere in the world their culture will never change you, whites can be racist all they want, it doesn't affect the Nigerian man, black Americans are always the ones crying of victimisation

In one of my three visits to UAE for a better future, I went searching for job at the industrial area of Sharjah. Behold my people, I met more than twenty Nigerians working their asses off in a factory for just 800AED per month without feeding ooo. Sincerely speaking, most of our young people are not lazy if given opportunity to work in a conducive environment. Note: I couldn't work there sha.... Back to naija
