You will be surprised at the value of BBN to the Nigerian economy. From building of the House in Nigeria (including the stage), to the production crew of the show, to bloggers and social media guys making making cash from BBN related stories (even Seun is smiling to the bank). The macro economic effect is huge.
The show us rated 18 for got sake, if you don't want to watch any show rated 18, change the channel. DSTV has cartoon and religious channels, unless you are suggesting that all 18 rated programmes should be banned in Nigeria.

That is why the film rating system was created.

The rating system is a guide to help you determine a movies content prior to viewing it.

Big Brother Nigeria is rated 18, meaning it contains content not suitable for people under 18

NC-17:"No One 17 And Under Admitted."
This rating declares that this is a film that most parents will consider too adult for their youngsters under 17. No children will be admitted. NC-17 does not necessarily mean "obscene or pornographic". An NC-17 rating can be violence or sex or aberrational behavior or drug abuse or any other elements which, when present, most parents would consider too strong and therefore off-limits for viewing by their children.

We are in a democracy and not a theocracy. If you want all 18 rated programs and films banned in Nigeria, pertition the National Assembly to change our broadcast laws.

You didn't mention how it will add value to the life of the millions viewing it at home. Instead, they will spend money on daily basis in the name of voting. I don't see the gain bro. I don't see the gain.

Nothing productive can be seen by me in this show. Monetary benefits on the part of contestants, Big Brother, and sponsors and the viewership are what keeps this show alive. Apart from that, I don't see the use or productivity of soft porn on the TV.

Are you saying it does not add value to Seun Osewa watching from home? What of the thousands of bloggers and YouTubers and other social media practitioners eking out a living from social media marketing?

Are you now discounting the value of entertainment as a whole? You are directly insinuating that movie, sports, music industries are of no value to fans.

You must think you are the wisest person on the planet.
