MrTrend:Its likely that results from the examination centre was witheld. He should find out if others who wrote in that centre has same problem. If that is the case he should pray the situation changes else he might to take GCE for that subject if he did not write NECO. |

ARCHEMEDESME:Yeah it could take that long. My technical drawing was outstanding when I wrote waec in 2006. The result came out when I was already in 100 level. That's probably about 6 months after. |

See dis one ooo. Outstanding means its witheld pending when dem go decide to release am or NOT. Most times na d same grade with English e go be. Its different from WITHELD. Witheld na total seizure of d result.....dem no dey give u shigbain ....Take it from someone who wrote waec 4 times . Today, am a PostGraduate student sef |

Your results will soon be released. Don't panic. It is sometimes due to hitches with d school and WAEC office in your state. I was once in your shoes and eventually my results is released and everything was aweaome. |

Check the result again in two weeks time it will be released. If it is with held that is where you have problem but for the case of outstanding, it means the subject is undergoing further scrutiny. |

Katier00:Most universities won't admit him without a Credit in English even if he has an A in maths. He must hurriedly get a G. C. E form, it's better if he gets both waec and Neco to be on a safer side cux exams can be tricky. |

Don't worry, since you were not involved in any malpractice, trust me, your result will be released. You are not acursed at all. At times things happen like that just for God to prove himself. Just be fervent in prayers and at the end of the day, you will smile. Good luck. |

I think you should just prepare for another waec because even if the outstanding subject is release and you pass it but you still have challenge with your English language. Please you don't have to be depressed, All the best. |

ARCHEMEDESME:i had same issue when i wrote mine... this may mean that your centre performed credibly well above standard which requires the WAEC to investigate if there was malpractice or not... did you ask if it was just yours or the whole centre that was withheld? |
