The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday approved the Nomination of Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Igbere TV reports. The Senate President after screening of the last Ministerial Nominee put forward the Motion for the Approval of the Nomination of Uche Ogah as Minister. “Will the Senate Approve the Nomination of Dr Uchechukwu Ogah as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?”, Senator Ahmad Lawan asked. The Senate responded in the affirmative. Igbere TV reports that President Muhammadu Buhari had submitted a list of 43 ministerial nominees, which was read at the Senate plenary last Tuesday. Ogah, the 2019 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Abia was the first nominee to be screened on Wednesday.
