Is like you people are still fools. Thousands of Nigerians youths get invaded, prosecuted, embarrassed, rough handled, killed, oppressed among others year in year out and no one is talking about that. What makes sowore different is he has a name?

Why should Nigerians now fight for him? He saw it coming, they new the game they were playing, it could be averted but they were busy playing chess with the same politics and he got caught then raised alarm

He could have done that before now. In the beginning of the end.....we just don't care cos it ended long time ago already

Get back to BBN folks. Your futures are bright.

Hong Kong protest has entered its 4th week. It started March 31st. But in Nigeria, after two days everyone retires home and hopes for the best. The saddest part is that there are some Nigerians packing their bags to migrate to Hong Kong after the citizens have done fighting, then have the effrontery to complain that they are not being treated with respect and dignity? Who respects leeches and cowards?

Nobody planned to join him in any protest before except the few friends he has, his party members and paid street urchins. Nigerians only make noise on social media. His arrest is unnecessary.

Just see people have already taken it as a tribal issue
Nigeria is already divided between ethnic and religious lines
The earlier we go our separate ways the better.
IPOB already knows this that is why they are planning on leaving
As long all ethnic groups are not in support of this
Then this revolution is dead on arrival.

Yes, if it is true, that is best thing Government should have done before he turns to another "Nnamdi Kanu" that turns many innocent youths to become tyrants and constitute nonsense to our societies. He is just selfish and a looser who is hiding under canopy of his lost presidential election to perpetrate evil. If he had won, would he had called for revolution? How many of their previous revolutions even with Charly boy has yielded positive result except turning youths to constitute nonsense to our societies. There are many ways he can support government in power if he is sincere. Ordinary his party finances, he couldn't handle well; for him to join alliance with 'Mogalu' he couldn't just because it wasn't him that was nominated and now he wants to rule the country. For people like you who think joining him for protest is the best you can do, my only advice for you is not to come back to this platform to tell us "you were mistakenly shot on sight by police and you were harmless", nobody will waste " Rip" on useless individual who has choosen to die foolishly as a result of his/her stubborness. Be wise, let those who organise it go and bring all their children schooling abroad to lead the protest and let them burn their foreign-travelling documents in public before you take them serious.

Re: Revolution: DSS Arrests Omoyele Sowore by kunlesmiles(m): 8:09am On Aug 03, 2019
The truth is we the Nigerian youth lack the will for a revolution. We are only concerned with making money and running out of naija. Nothing will change until we can no longer afford money for passport. The question is how many youths will leave there jobs for a protest against d govt. We are in a really difficult spot.

Nice 1. Not bad as he was arrested. Na normal thing for every freedom fighter. Besides innocent people suffer worse everyday in this shithole
Funny sowore; revolution because sowore says so. LOL

YES there's a need for revolution but certainly not because someone like sowore was arrested

I had rather risk my life for any random citizen or someone more deserving.

Sowore aim is to be president. The guy is just greedy and self centered. He is probably just a little bit better than the rest of them. The difference between him and buhari might not even be much

Finally any igbo man that partakes in this protest is definitely unwise and highly gullible. Let the middle belt, hausas, yorubas, fulanis, almajiris, abokis, and the rest of this shithole lead the revolution.
What we need to do is observe, hustle and face our business. Don't go and stupidly endager your life for people that don't deserve it; before it will be termed as Igbo revolution and they will start attacking innocent and random igbos residing in their land

So must the errors of recent past stop us from moving forward.
The country should remain stagnant because of an injustice metted out to Kanu and IPOB youth.
And you can't even reason beyond that a successful revolution can be of benefit to Kanu and IPOB.
This thread is not about Kanu and IPOB. If you're not in support of this course because of this people who happen to champion it, why not remain silent tactfully and watch how the movement plays out instead of playing the spoiler, indirectly playing into the hands of your oppressors
Is good to keep the record straight,

If something negative happen along the line, you yorubas will be the one to tag it igbo revolution and will join hausafulanis to kill innocent Easterns.

You will justify it with the claim that is Kanu that send Sowore, that it was after sowore went to london to meet kanu that it all started.

Ofcourse you know how igbo do when they are committed to something, with that when the so called revolution get tough, the few igbos that stand their ground will be use as escape goat,
And it will all be conclude that it is igbo revolution.

To so many of you yorubas and hausafulanis,is only igbos that are against this government.

ARREST OF OMOYELE SOWORE: THE REVOLUTION SHALL NOT BE STOPPED!!!

Comrades of #RevolutionNow

The National Action Committee of #RevolutionNow August 05 "Days of Rage" protest has confirmed that Omoyele Sowore, AAC National Chairman, and member of the Coalition for Revolution (CORE), has been arrested and taken away by the Department of State Security (DSS) to an unknown destination.

We are working to get more information concerning this development and to organise legal intervention to secure his immediate release. We shall provide information on further developments as it becomes available.

Sowore's arrest attests to the validity of our struggle to liberate Nigeria from the shackles of a ruling class that aims to keep NIgeria's working people under perpetual oppression. For sixty years they have kept Nigerians enslaved under their incompetent, corrupt, and irresponsible rule. Now, we the people have had enough and are ready to take back our country, to take back the political power and national wealth that rightly belong to us.

The arrest of Sowore is definite and clear evidence that they are afraid of #RevolutionNow.

This is why we must intensify our preparation. Get the word out to as many people as you can. Mobilise on your street, your campus, workplace, marketplace, bus stop, everywhere. The battle has begun. Let the mighty people of Nigeria stand for liberty and justice in this country.

They have arrested Sowore, but they cannot break our will for freedom from their oppression.

We shall not be intimidated; neither shall we be moved. We shall go ahead with our protest on August 5. We shall come out in our droves!

In unity and with one mighty voice, we shall tell the oppressor class:
"This is our country!"
"This is our land!"
"We reject you and your policies!"
"Pack your load and go!"

Victory is certain, because a people united can never be defeated. So let us come out in our Days of Rage, starting August 5.

#RevolutionNow! #ThrowDemOut!!

National Action Committee
#Days of Rage
You are talking trash,nonsensical nonsense!

The nation is facing serious security challenges but Sowore and you opportunists want to compound them ,abi.

The greatest revolution in a democracy is through the ballot box.Any grievances against the ballot box,is through the courts .

Protests are normal in a democracy, but definitely not the one calling for change of government, other than through constitutional means. That is Treason!

You can protest against social welfare and other rights, not calling for change of a legitimate government, defacing the whole country with very inciting posters and inscriptions.

The only revolution that can happen in USA now,is through the ballot box,no matter how bad Trump is,I am sure sowore knows this.I hope fools following him,are also aware.

The Buhari government is definitely not the architect of our present predicament.
