Burna Boy is now definitely bigger on the global stage than Wizkid or Davido. Anyone arguing otherwise is deluded.
African mentality. Someone has to fall for another to rise. Smh

His African Giant album doesn't seem to have lots of impact at all.
Infact, I don't think there was any hardwork put into the album

His 'This side' track just look like a remix of Travis Scott's This side song

'African giant' is like a remix of Aramide's FunMilowo song
your opinion

Happy for Burna Boy. This is his moment, without a doubt.

May God open more doors for him.

I think he's being appreciated more because of his live performance. He uses a life band. Unlike Davido and wizkid who can only perform with a DJ playing their tracks

Na studio den they use tay record Na were to much.

Remember back in those days people use to insult me anytime I play his tunes, they were mocking him when he was banned from entering the UK but now they are now celebrating the African Giant. Nigerians are just hypocrite

I was always at loggerheads with my friends then when I told them that Burna was better than Iyanya. That was at Iyanya's peak. My friends were like, guy are you ok?

Burna keeps moving

Never thought someone other than Wizkid and davido would be getting so much international attention
All thanks to his mum, the real MVP.

He has always been very original and brilliant but many Nigerian youths always appreciate over nonsense over quality.

Check his songs all through the years, nothing about the commonplace love-love bulsh*ts but real stuffs about the society dating back to "Yawa Dey" days.

And yes, I started liking his songs since way back coz of his crazy but melodius bass voice.

No one alive will take FELA's place in being the people's voice through music, femi tried for a while but stopped for some reason best known to him; 2face as well tried but was bullied to silence.
BURNA could just be another Afro god but will never take the "Afro god himself" FELA's place.

I've always known BURNA had words in him that will take him places.

Burna boy no sing reach Tuface, but Burna dey sing Fela jams and as e carry Baba 70 spirit inside him tunes, Burna go carry Grammy. But still, no Nigerian musician or African musician sing reach Fela, he is the only true muscial Legend and genius of our era. Fela dey the same level with Bob Marley, born with music in their blood.

First time I heard this dude was 7yrs ago. Inside me, I know these days will come. Religion aside, I like his style of music. There are few real musicians in d industry and he is one of them.

That song " see me with my dark shade on, like i can't see you but you know say me fancy you" was pure bliss.

Im not suprised. Then he got a mama and grandpa who are very knowledgeable connected and experienced in both the artistic and commercial sides of music.

Burna is the real deal. He knows his craft and has the persona and physical presence to be a global star.

I am very happy for Burna, he is now given due recognition after being underrated for years. The dude has done much for himself.

True say my brother. I remember when HipTV and MTN robbed him off the Next Rated Award few years ago because of Sean Tizzle, who was doing well at that time only to fade off the limelight.

You are so on point. Burna has been able to fuse afro beats with Naija hip hop excellently. He grew up around Afrobeats as his grandpa was Abami Eda's manager and his mother was one of his dancers.

That is life bro. Timaya was once rejected by many talent hunters who said that he didn't have talent but today where are those that made it ahead of Timaya? where is Sean Tizzle?

I for sure know you are a Wizkid fan, so sit down let me school you boy...
Burna boy is the most commercially successful African artiste at the moment, I wouldn't want to say of all time because Angelique kidjo holds that record.
I know you might argue this but facts Don't lie, this African giant album debuted at no 16 on UK OCC Album charts which is also the best debuting African album ever by an african, it also debuted at 104 on billboard top 200 which is the best debuting album by a Nigerian on that chart once again only suparsed by Angelique kidjo in the whole African Continent,it also topped 10charts across the world and at no33 on Canadian billboard

That might be true but the biggest African recording artist for the last 5 years has to be Wizkid.
Nigga got featured by Drake and Beyonce. These are platinum selling musicians recognized globally.
I like Burna Boy, in fact I've been a fan since the hit tracks Ebelebo Ebelebo o and if you never see Landlord yawa dey o debuted but Wizkid na Baba Nla o.
