I know maybe this post has been repeated quite a few times, But maybe we can make something fresh out of this. So I'll start with mine.

Ok mine was in my secondary school days, Ss2 to be exact. There was this girl I liked. Now, there was this debate competition she was participating in, ss2 ''A" Science class vs Ss2 ''B'' Art class. The first of its kind ever in the 13+ years of existence of our school. You see, I stumbled upon her class meeting and found out that both she and her companions were in complete disarray....

So I offered to help based on my adequate command of facts and my polished argument skills, and put them in place for the competition which was just a few days away. It was a bit harsh on my sanity putting together a bunch of confused people, but I made sure to give them good points, and also taught them the best type of introduction and conclusion. But I made sure to give her the best of points so as to say.

The day of the competition was a grand one. Apparently The director and his wife were present, the principal also and a handfull of teachers and staff. Also the students who were seated to watch the clash of the two factions. The debate was a three on three match up, with her and two other boys leading the A Class.

Fast toward to the main content, her companions failed woefully. But she scaled through rather excellently, that even the director commended her for a stellar performance. Im Not taking all the glory but least I contributed nah.

The prize money was about 2000 naira each for the two factions. Okay, the money was supposed to be shared 500# each with me included since I was a participant at least. Although I wasn't there when they were sharing it. Then they gave her 1000# to share with me. Fast foward again she ate the money alone. When they asked her she said she had already eaten it. They said okay Since she was the highest.

After that i tried talking to her but she would always pretend to be busy. Then at the end of the term, after exams I summoned courage and asked for her number and she gave me a resounding "No it is not needed". So anytime someone asks me for something funny I just reply with No its not needed But I still wonder why she would reject me even after helping her in that close quater debate.
