And when these bad boys start flaunting their ill-gotten wealth online on NL, and you raise questions about the source of such wealth, some of their mindless supporters will attack you, and insult you saying that you are suffering from bad-belle and a poor man's mentality! angry

By the time you turn round to give them a taste of their own insulting medicine, their fan club within the moderators clique on NL, will turn round to ban you due to their stuvpidity. sad

Wubbish!!

Yes that's a poor man or bad belle mentality. Anybody source of income is none of my business so far it don't hinder my strides.

Some dumb people here talking what they don’t know. The guy killed himself when he linked his real email with his fraud email. Someone pulling shiits of this magnitude need not be on instagram or even Twitter. The guy was so dumb to the extent that he created NL account with his real email address, Instagram username on profile, picture on profile, who does that? .... He is very dumb. All the tracking wouldn’t have lead anywhere had it been he didn’t link his real email address to fraud one, have a large online presence like NL, FB, IG, Twitter, all linked to his real email address. If you’re a G, stay away from anything social media. If you must do social media, use a separate system/device.

I doff my hat for you Sir many times many ways! Fact you just said. Who does that!

Stop misleading people with your pseudo conclusion about finance. Joseph became rich because God blessed him not because he lied. Solomon too also Jabez.
I don't really like discussing religion tho.
Everything is perception, Joseph became a leader (and maybe became famous) because Pharaoh willed it so. Solomon was rich not because any God blessed him but because he made ties with different rulers of the world and took wife of far distant places. He was rich because he was flexible with his decision making and was even willing to worship other gods

This is why I don’t trust and can’t use google. They collect information you won’t believe even you had.

I’m uninstalling chrome today.

You're probably uninstalling Chrome on an Android device.

All the websites you visit also have Google Analytics.

And you use Google search, perhaps Gmail as well.

Nice discussions here.

1) Proxy servers will speed up the retrieval of requests that you make -- but only if those requests were already made, and are in the proxy's cache. Otherwise, your request will be slower (even if you do not notice), because you are involving yet another computer to be a middle-man for a request that could be done directly, without the proxy.
also know that your own computer has cache, that does the same thing. The advantage of using a proxy, is that if anyone else (that also uses the same proxy) has visited a site, and you visit the same site, then you will reap the benefit of using the proxy's cache for a faster response. But to be clear... if you both visit jumia, and you shop for different things, the cache will not help (only slight help, for data in common, like jumia specific logos, etc).
2)Your IP address is hidden, and it is not hidden. It depends on how much you trust the proxy server, as it very likely keeps logs on everything.

3) Your identity is often not hidden. When you go to facebook, and post, etc, facebook knows who you are. When you buy that item on amazon, amazon knows who you are (how could you possibly make a purchase, and have it delivered, without amazon knowing who you are?).

4) VPN services claim that they do not keep logs. The customers have no way, none, to verify their claims. If, for example, a VPN service is within the jurisdiction of the USA, then a judge can order that VPN service to keep logs on you, and the judge can order the VPN service to keep that order secret (a gag order). Look up "vpn 5 eyes" and "vpn 14 eyes" for more information (the eyes are the number of countries that have a level of jurisdiction and reciprocal agreements with each other, to issue court orders, to force VPN services to monitor you).

even if a VPN service is not logging any of your activity, know that your connection between you and the VPN service will be encrypted. But if you are using the VPN service to, for, example, shop on amazon, then between the VPN service and amazon, your surfing is done in the clear. amazon might not know your computer's IP address, but they will know you when you sign on to make a purchase.

5) Your web browser:
If you use google chrome, then all of your web surfing is probably being sent to them, in one form or another. No one knows the code within chrome's browser, so no one knows how much tracking the browser does. But it is reasonable to conclude that google, who makes its ocean of $$ by spying, designed their chrome browser to do just that.

6) Windows (most folks use it) tracks everything that you do, down to the keystroke and the mouse click. If you are serious about security and privacy, then you must ditch all Microsoft (and google, and others, etc) products, in favor of a reputable Linux open source solution, and use only open source alternatives (there are endless good ones) for all of your on-line activities.
internet is a public network. It was neither designed with security nor privacy in mind. There are ways to obtain a high level of both, but it is not simple, and it is not convenient.

I laugh in VPn even contabo will still collect your id.

As long as you have a smartphone ( Android, iPhone, etc), everything (texts, calls, pictures, videos) you do (including your location) is known. If you are needed, you can be easily located with the right tools.

Even if you turn off your phone, it is sending data to the mothership.

The truth is that, in this age, the concept of privacy is an illusion. Especially for those who use the android phone.

About 2 weeks ago, I stumbled on a list of all my saved passwords under some settings on my phone. Both those I used years ago and have already forgotten. To say I was shocked is an understatement.

It's just crazy.
my bro the shit scared me even just a few days back here when I tried deleting my passwords and auto fill data on my cache and they kept on reappearing. This will be the last Android I will ever use. And iPhone 5s is way better than Samsung S10plus

Boy, how far can you run away from your shadow? Even if you successfully concealed every details of your dealings from man using whatever form of technology, can you hide them from God?
The first approach to living a safe life everywhere in the world is to be truthful to yourself and others, and in doing so, you will have no excuse to fear that your details may be searched one day. Peace!

Is there anything really like privacy? When you submitted your documents to the banks for account opening, and to your employers during application, do you think you are still living in privacy?
See, the best bet in maintaining one's privacy in your life time is first and foremost, never you get to school at all (nursery to university); don't ever buy anything a receipt would be issued to you; don't ever apply to work at all that involves appointment letter and others; and in fact, don't ever visit nor operate a bank account. Can you do these and several other things? Your guess is as good as mine.
Therefore, forget about the OS you are using whether Android, iOS, MOS etc. It should rather be about what you are using these technologies to do. Are they legitimate? Are they fraud free? Can they be considered genuine when they come under scrutiny? That's the point. Peace!
