1. PUREGON
Puregon is a powder and solvent to be made up into a solution for injection. It is also available as a solution for injection in a vial or a cartridge. Puregon contains the active substance follitropin beta.

What is Puregon used for?
Puregon is used to treat infertility in women in the following situations:

women who are anovulatory (do not produce eggs) and do not respond to treatment with clomiphene citrate (another medicine that stimulates ovulation);
women who are undergoing fertility treatment (assisted reproductive techniques, such as in vitro fertilisation). Puregon is administered to stimulate the ovaries to produce more than one egg at a time.
Puregon can also be used to stimulate sperm production in men who have hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism (a rare hormone deficiency disease).

2. MENOPUR
This medication is used to treat certain fertility problems in women. It provides follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) that help healthy ovaries to make eggs. This medication is usually used in combination with another hormone (human chorionic gonadotropin-hCG) to help you become pregnant by bringing about the growth and release of a mature egg (ovulation).

This medication is not recommended for women whose ovaries no longer make eggs properly (primary ovarian failure).

3. GONAL-F
Gonal-F is used to treat infertility in women who cannot ovulate. Gonal-F is not effective in women with primary ovarian failure (when the ovaries are unable to produce an egg).

Gonal-F is also used in men to stimulate sperm production. This medicine is not effective in men with primary testicular failure (when the testicles are unable to produce sperm).

Gonal-F is often used together with another medication called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG).

4. CLOMID
Clomifene, also known as clomiphene, is a medication used to treat infertility in women who do not ovulate. This includes those who have polycystic ovary syndrome. Use results in a greater chance of twins. It is taken by mouth once a day with a course of treatment generally lasting five days.
