Igbos Are Dealing With Their Politicians, Others Are Talking by Ikengawo: 12:11am On Aug 19, 2019 |
I have noticed two things since the public shaming of failed politician Ike Ekweremadu 1. A large, non-igbo support group for Ekweremadu 2. A smaller support group for unquestioned and unchallenged existence of rich men. That a man (specifically a man) who has a large house in Nigeria is above the touch of 'the people'. In America, if a president does half of what Ekweremadu has done, there will be a bullet in his head. For this reason, no American politician, while their own people are being killed by foreign invaders wielding illegal weaponry, will ever wear the insignia of a supportive government or of the killers and attend a birthday party, let alone a festival as central to Igbo culture as New Yam. While your people are being raped, you're openly attending parties. While their villages are being burnt down, while people are establishing illegal settlements, you're arriving at parties abroad. Meanwhile the people abroad are there because you failed to ensure their life back home with the authority they gave you. You cannot go to a black american party whereing Ishi KKK You cannot go to a jewish party wearing ishi Nazi You cannot go to a Saudi party wearing Ishi Iran You cannot go to a Palestinian party wearing Ishi Israel You cannot go to a Chinese party wearing Ishi Japan But, because you believe in the chorus of betrayed people that are always willing to defend your honor for free, you will go to New Yam, at the height of raping and killing in Enugu, wearing Ishi Zoo. If you want to know the difference between Africa today and Europe where Ekweremadu was egged remember this When poverty reached a breaking point, the French beheaded their entire leadership class When 90% of Russians couldn't find bread to eat, the Russians shot the entire royal family When Mussolini misled Italians and proved to be an incompetent bigot, they hung up upside down from a pole The Yoruba and Benin were able to build great empires in the past. Did you know that if a Yoruba leader failed his people, they would bring a bowl to him there he would fill with his own blood and die? Did you know that an Oba that fails or betrays his people was crucified? in Igboland we did not bother making kings out of common men because we wanted to make sure nobody is above the retribution of the people. To even have temporary authority over the commissioning of building a new public square, you had to take an oath to your people. If you failed that oath you were buried alive. When the people say 'you have failed', they know exactly where to reach you. But living in Nigeria has made you learn to love your killers. So while they loot from you and take your future, you protect them from harm. Not even harm, from disrespect. From embarassment. Meanwhile your entire life is an embarassment and you're aware of it. While they neglect their duties and attend parties abroad, you go online to beg others to honor them. But let you have a tattoo or an Iphone in that same Nigeria. Let you say you want a revolution. Let you refuse a bribe. Let you say you want a referendum. You will be beaten, stripped naked, displayed in public, made to frog jump, flogged, slapped and thrown in a dungeon with no charges to rot and die. If you don't support what Ndiigbo has chosen to do, not just for yourself but for all of Africa, you are the most disgraced element in the entire story. 41 Likes 10 Shares |

Brilliant write-up op! My aunty used to say.."mmà owo ntok ìdíok" which means..i don't say bad against someone even if I don't like them... Everyone is condemning the eye opening act because it was done by IPOB they don't like.. I like how Igbos did it...they held their leader accountable and beat up their own son so people won't say they don't like a particular tribe, even if they tried to fight for everybody. And for those saying, we don't beat up our leaders, we oust them at the polls, how can you succeed when the machineries and apparatuses are being controlled and can be subjective to the rigging acts? Even if am not Igbo, but I think it's hightime everyone stood up to their leaders.. every aboki with him kettle.. nobody has time to be fighting for people that doesn't need liberation.. anytime you're uncomfortable you can direct your anger to your leaders, nobody can wait 4 u. That's how a properly restructured system works 29 Likes 6 Shares |

ezenwajosh: Gbam. The truth is these politicians do what they do because they can do it. Imagine an entire state in Germany with not 1 single hospital that can treat diabetes. The governor of that place will get money to build that hospital, and will use it to fly to England to treat his diabetes and keep his family in a hotel instead. They will firebomb that devil in less that a week. That's why the IPOB members didn't get arrested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjqI9O4S6XA I will use the example of white people since that is where your slave brains get your guidance of what is right and wrong. Watch this video carefully. Look at what is happening. An Australian politician is hit with an egg for making hateful comments at muslims. Australia has free college, free healthcare, best education system in the world, and a thriving economy. This kid lives comfortably. But he still stepped outside of his comfort to be brave and send a message of protest to a leader he felt was doing a bad thing. Enugu doesn't have free education, doesn't have free healthcare, doesn't have real educational and health facilities except the ones that Azikiwe and Okpara built in our great grandfather's time. Unlike Australia, people that have been banished from the Central African REpublic and Gambia are combing the streets of Enugu with automatic machine guns. Raping, destroying farms, looting, burning, torching, killing, stabbing, hacking, cutting. Ekweremadu how has been the most powerful man in Enugu for no less that 15 years now is in Germany trying to eat yams. If I were there, I would have thrown a stone. 35 Likes 9 Shares |

Whether rightly or not, the Igbo in Germany have belled the cat and Nigeria’s political elite are really afraid of traveling out now because they don’t know who’ll be next. The only problem is can the momentum be maintained ? Are other Nigerians angry enough to take matters into their own hands or do they still like getting royally fûcked in the anûs with a mop stick ? Make no mistake about it, the breaking point has reached, it’s just a matter of who will throw the first stone 30 Likes 5 Shares |

It's everywhere. When a revolution starts, the leaders are targets. 2 weeks ago, Nigerians were screaming revolution. Igbos were laughing because we know Nigerians are cowards. They went for their revolution. Where are they now? Where is sowore now? Okay, igbos have started their own, you're now complaining. What do you spineless conquered people of Nigeria want? You claim the breakup of Nigeria is not a solution. That we should handle our leaders. Now we're handling them. You're complaining.... Even the leaders we want to handle are not complaining. But you're already crying for them. Who do una this thing? Who cursed you people? God forbid!! 35 Likes 7 Shares

RZArecta2: they're not nigerians they're not nigerians they're not nigerians they're not nigerians neither are you, but you keep calling yourself a niggerarian and keep thinking you will be anything other than a slave. The biggest shackle on your neck is that name. Once you call yourself you true name you will realize these Tinubus Sarakis Ekweremadus and Okorochas are just meal seekers. In the African traditional system a man must first find the source of his troubles and rebuke it before he can even start thinking of a solution. The source of this bullshit is NIGERIA. orisa37: What do you mean?... Look at the pictures...That's Enugu - Onitsha federal highway. IKE was the DSP for all the time PDP and Jonathan were in charge, He did absolutely nothing. I am sure the money he has accumulated can repair that road...But that's not the issue. In foreign land, he would have resigned to show his displeasure on the continuous marginalization of the SE. People in Sudan, Hong Kong, France, Venezuela, have better roads, and infrastructure than Nigeria, yet they are protesting to have even a better country. SE and Nigeria are decaying fast because gullible people like you are in the majority. "...The South East has the highest infrastructural deficit in the country..." Tony Momoh.. 7 Likes
