Sometimes I can't imagine that I am actually living without you and not miss you but today I miss you.
I remember clearly the joy you brought to my life when we first met, when you questioned me about Ruthie. I can vividly remember how much I spent the night drooling and dreaming of you.
I can also remember the day you said yes to me. How we strolled down to the annex and had our first kiss.... That was close to being the most romantic day off my life. I rarely remember but I do today. Your eyes, smile, way you walk and act everything seemed perfect. We had no reason to not love each other ... Until reasons came to leave each other. Reasons!
I imagined having my kids with you. I imagined laying down my life for you. But one thing I didn't imagine at first was leaving you. Or you leaving me.
You were an angel. So perfect until Lucifer lost his glory- all in the eyes. The same being. Two different personalities- all in the eyes.
Today I can't but hope that you found what you were looking for... You found what we never had.
I only pray that love treats you well.... But truly you were my amazing special.
And some how I just hope you remember the great times today and at least, miss me.... Cuz I miss you.
