Since they've taken time to expose and ridicule these Nigerians, they should also take time to CELEBRATE (giving them front page headlines) many other Nigerians with laudable projects and inventions - that's FAIR JOURNALISM! |

Nbote:There is nothing like fuel-less and/Or water-powered generator. Whoever told you he did such, either oyibo or black is a scammer. Infact, read the report again with focus on that generator part, it is a scam. For instance, some Nigerians who called on the scientists to procure some of the fuel-less generators alleged that the scientists only dismantled their petrol generators and did some inexplicable connections to make them work like inverters. To even assume a generator without energy source can exist is a clear indication that we are not learning anything not to talk of even following. 1 Like 1 Share |

An academic should be curious, questioning, skeptical and critical. this is exactly how inventions come to reality. Naija and the leaders abhor these kind of people. Once you start reasoning this way, nobody will want to be your friend. 1 Like |

anonimi: You must be extremely daft or mentally lazy to not have sensed the sarcasm in that comment. Don't try being mischievous this Monday morning because it won't do you good. These your politicians that have been lying to the populace for time immemorial, are they more hardworking than the youths who wake up every morning to try and carve a niche for themselves?? What's the difference between these men up there and those public office holders who forged their certs/credentials?? The answer is simple; LIES Don't try to always sound politically correct.. It is completely stupid calling others lazy because you got lucky. |

PlayerMeji: There are a thousand things wrong with this that I don't even know where to begin. Well we would have given them a chance to prove themselves if they had actually told us the truth from the get go instead of lying about their inventions. And usually their motivation is financial and about fleecing gullible people. 1 Like 1 Share |

Damn! Nigerians always criticizing ourselves! For your information , there re other researchers who were actually the pre-inventors before your initial mentioned. Just get the Bleep out of here and say what you've got for us. Do not bring down others for your success, Remember, Success no sure for anybody, Life is trial and error. 1 Like |

Simplyleo: My point is dat if we are beginning to get to dismantling a petrol generator to make "inexplicable" connection on it to use waste, concert waste or reduce fuel consumption den we are getting there b dat.. Becos las las it is borne out of d need to alleviate what we are used to |

That water generator guy's story is strange. It's like he pressurises the Easter then uses that water to run an induction motor. My question is how much power does the pressurisation consume? |
Re: Busted: Nigerian ‘Inventors’ Whose Claims Turned Out To Be False (Photos) by Simplyleo: 7:18am On Sep 02, 2019 |
Nbote:The inexplicable connection was ultimately to redirect it to start working as inverters as stated in the report, which will even be less efficient than the inverter systems in the market, not to start using water. The whole thing na scam. Even if we can't invent, we should be able to recognise one, if it truly is an invention before we start thinking of how to improve on it. But any wuru wuru arrangements like this water powered generators should be discouraged. |

Rubbish write up. There's nothing new under the sun and at whatever point you discover a secret of nature, it becomes new to you. Especially if it can be applied to local challenges despite having already being deployed somewhere else. Even the Patent act in Nigeria recognises that an invention is valid even it is not entirely new, but makes substantial improvements to an already existing invention. |
