Well that Night mare is about to be yours because we're Uping our game here and Nigerian would no longer stand for it. The government is targeting South African companies here We're nationalising them.

Ghana gave Guinea a grant of $10 million grant in 1958 when France cut off aid because Guinea opted for independence. that money is worth more than $1 billion today. Ghana offered hundreds of south african students scholarship to study in Ghana. In Accra, there was a hostel near the Accra airport that was used strictly to house south african students in Ghana.

That is like a drop in the ocean compared to what Nigeria did and is still doing till today.

We just recently gave three country in africa one million dollars last month.

Go and look at the ECOWAS. Check what Nigeria contributes in term of technical aid and funding and compare it to Ghana.

The truth is that nigeria should focus on the welfare of its citizens. One million dollars is nothing now. More importantly, given the high poverty levels in Nigeria, why should the government be giving or funding things that don’t benefit the Nigerian people. Is it so people will see nigeria as a rich country, or a powerful country? It doesn’t make sense to me,honestly.

Nigeria should focus on the welfare of its citizens, very true.
I am staunch advocate of that.
But the thing is we are richer than 98% of countries in Africa.
Resource distribution have always been the problem.

One million dollars is nothing, but how many countries gave them anything?
It is what we have always done.

I don’t think nigeria is as rich as most of its citizens believe. I personally don’t see nigeria as rich country. Perhaps it used to be rich in the 1960s and 70s. Nigeria today is not a rich country and every Nigerian should very very concerned about the direction the country is going today.

You're aware that people have shares in companies, right? Pick one company you're curious about & see who the shareholders are.

But it doesn't change anything.

It is actually a rich country. It may not be richer compared to the bigger economies of the world.

But it is rich in African standards.
There are more wealthy people in Nigeria than in anywhere else in Africa except maybe south Africa.
Though there are more poor people, but I guess that is the problem of resource distribution we are talking about.

as we speak Ghana's economy is just over around $50 billion....they don't pay their AU dues mad Nigeria still shoulders 70% of ECOWAS budget...

A country that poor has nothing to offer materially anywhere.
go and learn the basis on which the contributions are made
each country pay their equal share.

AU contributions, Ghana hardly default on it.
same cant be said for Nigeria

Tell the Ghanaian midget! Imagine putting Nigeria in the same sentence as Ghana.
The only thing Nkrumah did for Africa was socialism and pan-African ideology of which he borrowed from Zik.
But in the case of Nigeria, we walked the talk.
We bled for Africa in restoring peace in civil wars, in Congo, Sudan, Liberia, Sierra-leone, Guinea, Somalia, Eritrea etc. We even spent Billions of Dollars in freeing Africa from neocolonialism and apartheid, in Angola, Mozambique, Namibia, Zimbabwe, South-Africa.
We spent our oil boom money on sending aids to the likes of Ethiopia during their decades of famine and medicines to health ravaged countries.
Had we not had charity leaders, by now we should be collecting collaterals and interests as the Americans for the sacrifices in these ungrateful countries. But the northerners who ruled our country were just focus on dashing free money and embezzling the left overs.
some of you Nigerians
sometimes you make stupid comments.

When Nkrumah was fighting for freedoms, Zik was in Accra trying to find a job as a Journalist.
He was even trained in a school in Accra Nkrumah set up for freedom fighters before he went to Nigeria again to start a political career

Do you view life through a drug-fogged glass or your brains are hindered with cheap intoxicants.

What did Ghana do for other African countries? Please give us proof of how Ghana even did 1/10 of what Nigeria has done in the subregion.

What did they do in Liberia that Nigeria didn't do a thousand times more?

During the Ebola crisis in West Africa, Nigeria sent trained medical team and relief materials plus dollars for all Ebola-stricken West African countries. Ghana sent locally grown rice!!!

Did we kill Ghanaians in the 80s? No!!! We simply deported them in ships back to their country.

How , for the life of me, do you relate that to what's happening in south Africa today?

You make the internet a fearful place to visit.
Ask every single African country
what Ghana contributed to their economy and in making their country a free one.
whiles you are at it, go and ask your historians of how Zik was given employment in Accra and trained to become a freedom fighter.

Ghana sent millions and cloths and medicines to both Liberia and Senegal during all of their crisis.
Comment on things you know about next time.

In the 80s, Ghana transported it own citizens back to Ghana in buses and ships
and yes, people were killed

I don't have to prove anything. A simple Google search is enough.

I just checked the leadership structure of DSTV online, most of the names there are Whites.

They just took a token south African black and made him CEO.

A white would replace him anyway after he has served his quota.
