The Judgement is very logical and grounded in the constitution sofar.


The judge also took his time to explain and made reference to past judgement.

Regardless of the outcome, I think everyone will agree that the judgement was not partial in anyway.

I'll eat my socks if everyone agrees it was not partial. In a country where most don't read, or can't read with understanding, it ain't gonna happen. Not to mention the partisan lot who have already chosen sides and can't be swayed by logic.

The tribunal reads out the various premises contained in the petition as filed by the PDP, including:
- That Buhari was not duly elected by the majority of votes
- That the electoral act was not complied with
- That the election was marred with widespread corruption
- That Buhari is not qualified to contest the election and that he supplied false information to INEC

The tribunal to resolve Issues 1 and 2 now. Issue 1 dwells on whether Buhari possessed the requisite educational qualification to contest the February 23 presidential election.

The second issue is whether Buhari gave false information (about his educational certificate) in an affidavit submitted to INEC which was fundamental in nature to aid his qualification to contest the election.

Both issues are to be resolved together by the tribunal.

The tribunal adopts the issues as raised by the petitioners. The tribunal is to deal with the issues in the order as raised by the petitioners’ lead counsel, Dr. Livy Uzoukwu (SAN).

INEC raised four issues for determination, Buhari three, APC raised six issues while the petitioners (Atiku, PDP) raised five issues.
