Residents must declare war. If fact everyone should carry gun and knife everywhere they go. May we not experience evil in Jesus Christ's name. Amen

You talking about war, carrying weapons and at the same time talking about Christ.

Where did you dump the LOVE he taught you?

The moment you exchange stolen-hacked illegal bitcoin for fiat then you're doomed. It even better for the kidnappers to collect cash than btc.
Crypto-Bitcoin and Alts-coin are non-virtual reality that is why a lot people won't be able to trade-invest in it. Today, there are huge bitcoin scam around the world. But you don't have to scam people with bitcoin if you're a professional traders. Crypto is world-game-changer. Learn the game first before you play it.

The bitcoin has been traced as an output from the kidnapper spent bitcoin.
So yes, it has been identified as stolen.

Below is a simple analysis of a bitcoin transaction that was sent and can still be traced after being sent to over 50 person
This flowchart explains nothing bro.

The idea for exchange stolen bitcoin isnt what i wrote there. I only say it foolishness for the kidnap to collect bitcoin base on report that the kidnappers were already caught thru KYC.

Because you can't understand.
A bank statement in the hands of a baby means nothing but in the hands of a chartered Accountant is a great tool.
It is called a flowchart, it is used to track the flow of funds from a target address and to understand how the funds are being moved

I bet you didn’t know it’s called “flowchart” until I stated it to you. Am I to use a double concave lens goggle to view the content of your chart?

Is it traceable that was why guys in the dark web no longer use it for deals. They use Monero for deals.

Some months ago, paxful started blocking accounts of people who received hacked/stolen coins after it was traced.

A Twitter user has shared on his page that a lady who resides in Abuja was released by her abductors after her father settled them using his Bitcoin.

According to him, her father paid a sum of $15,000 in Bitcoin ransom. Miss Aishat Umar Ardo who was the victim of the kidnap called her father to pick her up at 4th Avenue at Gwarimpa, Abuja where they dropped her.

Someone jokingly mentioned paying Ransome via bitcoin some time here on NL, and now this happens.
I think some of these criminals get ideas from this NL.

Its virtual money that is read in USD. Once you open a block chain account, you'd be given an address which acts like your bank acc number.
Whatever transaction is made the blockchain has the history, so you can't be scammed cos all transactions can be checked. However it can not be traced, you can have 10million dollars and no body will know grin

If you forget your password sorry... Money lost.
Its quite cool shar but its mostly used to purchase dark stuffs in the black MKT if Nigeria kidnappers learn that then its too too bad

That’s my maths....

He will still be caught.
example, the kidnapper masks his IP and then sells the btc.
The BTC will be sent somewhere. The reciever of the btc will then be traced. The transfer trail will be followed.
There are currently companies specialized in tracing bitcoin transaction.
Now people sell their bitcoin to exchanges, Luno, Remitano etc. All these do KYC, my brother!
There will always be a link to you.

What if the kidnappers sell to Chinese merchants that are based in China
Re: Father Paid Ransom To Kidnappers With Bitcoin In Abuja, Her Daughter Released by fr3do(m): 3:28pm On Sep 17, 2019
denitro:

Who told you?
Bitcoin is the easiest form of payment to trace. The process takes time but you will be caught.
Example.
The kidnaper receives the bitcoin using a wallet stored on his phone. Immediately he logs in and transfers the bitcoin,
His IP address goes into the private log of the wallet provider and this log can be obtained with a court order.
So all the kidnapper needs to do is send the bitcoin and his IP address can be traced.
Once you backtrace the IP address with the telecom provider like MTN etc.
You then get the SIM contact details and also the cell tower it pinged.
Catching the kidnappers is too easy if the police know what to do.

Don't forget cyber cafes, VPN and tor.

You are speaking from an ignorance point of view. Bitcoin! most secured platform to transfer any cash without trace! You
must be dreaming.
Bitcoin has a public ledger! The ledger keeps a record of all transactions linked to the bitcoin wallet.
You receive bitcoin and sell it and receive cash and you think you are done!
Let me tell you what can happen!
Scenario.
You steal some bitcoin and then sell it to an exchanger in Nigeria for cash.
The exchanger then transfers your bitcoin to an online wallet (Remitano, Luno etc)
All these online exchanges have hot wallets that are publicly known.
Once the hot wallet is identified, the exchangers are contacted, all you need is a court order.
The KYC of the exchanger you sold the btc to will be pulled out.
The exchanger is contacted by the police and he then tells the police who sold the btc to him
and the bank account or details of the cash transaction. Somehow your contact no and details will pop out.
How do you think the US were able to trace the MT gox hack, Silk road dark web operatives?
You can say the Nigerian police might be too lazy to do the needful.
But bitcoin is the worst payment system for privacy. You will be caught
What if the bitcoin is sold to someone that stays outside of Nigeria, say a Chinese that resides in China.

Just gmail account. Once you open an account with blockchain search for reputable Nigerian exchangers and buy bitcoin from them. Don't send money to anybody online o
