@ those sayin we should keep snakes as pets, this is for you. Can snakes recognize their owners? Snakes may recognize you in the sense that they understand you play some important function in their life, but they do not feel any familiarity towards humans as a dog or a cat would. Snakes don't see us like other mammals would see us, but there is a lot of debate on what a snake does think about its owner. 1 Like |

Did you read this part: ”he returned with the shovel and instead of hitting it on its head, he used the shovel to pin the snake to the ground and the snake retaliated, spat venom into his eyes and tried to escape”, the eyewitness said. As you can see, what the snake did was part of retaliation (what you know as self defense)... If he had let the snake go or better still, didn't see it in the first place, there wouldn't be any need for "retaliation". Please don't read another context into this... I am not defending the snake nor advocating that it shouldn't have been killed... I am simply stating why it did what it did. 2 Likes 1 Share |
