If you don't like Ice Prince's version,it's because you're paying so much attention to the hook.The first thing that caught my ears was the beat.After that,Brymo crushed the song.Trust V.E.C sha.Can't wait to hear his album.
Overall,i give kudos to the beatmeister and the person who has sprung Brymo into limelight again.

I really don't see any ground for a fair comparism here. Firstly ice was looking for an audience friendly tune to finally get his career of d ground which he did perfectly. He rhymed in a simplistic way which ensures fan not only singing along but also rapping along. Ice wrote dat chorus,d language is irrelevant, d main thing is he had a mental picture of how he wanted it to sound and was smart euff to identify brymo to deliver it. Besides its usually easier to improve on known material cos its like being given a head start in a race.
The real comparism shud be vectors mainstream attempt track GET DOWN feat 2face against OLEKU!

most def, oleku is far better than kilode, but i dunno who is better btw ice and vec.

Both catz exhibited totally different flows . . .

Vec wrapped his flows all around the beat like an octopus . . . and as Funky noted, he was filling up all 'em spaces in between with ad libs . . . but they got too much IMO . . . It'd have been better with a few words dropped intermittently here n there . . . it's a rap song, the ad libs shouldn't be dragging space with the raps.

Ice Prince kinda let the beat slide by . . . his flows were dropped like he was teasing a chick but wouldn't poke her , he left the beat crying out for more.

That said, I give both dudes their merits . . . but Ice Prince cuts this for me - he's one of ma fave Naija rappers so I might be bit biased here . . . he's not been on the scene for so long but since his cut on M.I's "Blaze", I'd always known this dude would go far . . .

I fail to see how he sounds 'elementary' compared to Vec here . . . agreed that Vec rode roughshod on the beat but I kinda feel Ice Prince just chose to lace the beat with a basic flow . . . did y'all notice that he was kickin' a near-even syllabic structure all through his verses?? He reminds me of Eminem's "3am" . . . and maybe it's his style but I remember how he flowed on Ruggedman's "She n My Swagger" - basic but I daresay he delivered better than Rugged . . . Zamani didn't run outta flows - seems like a deliberate move to me . . .

Also, Ice had some pretty decent lines if y'all listen carefully . . . he wasn't tryna go into all 'em complex wordplay and highly convoluted meanings . . . just simply profound but profoundly simple stuff that you'll almost miss if listened to in a hurry (tell me a "fat n shapeless" account doesn't make you let out a giggle) . . . and mess the foregoing, I just kick with him cos overall, he had a more 'fundamental' sound . . .

My vote - Ice Prince Zamani.

Tosin cool down. Music is not that simple. I'm not saying Ice wrote the Yoruba hook, but he must have come up with the melody and some of the lyrics. And Brymo tweaked some lines and delivered it properly. Both of em deserve praise for that hook
