AutoReportNG: With due respect sir, you got this wrong. What they are doing at the moment is to raise the road divider higher and not any form of repairs on the road. The main objective of this is to stop people from crossing the road. Funny enough, while on my way back from the Island the other day I actually saw a lady climbing the raised part of the divider. Their work is making life hellish on the that route and does not justify the money being spent. Why should they raise the divider when pedestrian bridges haven't been built. Between Charly boy b/stop and Anthony b/stop there ought to be at least two other pedestrian bridges. This has not been done and they are using the money they ought to use to repair the bad portions of the road to raise the road divider. This is what has been termed 'Sanwo Eko' for you - the party men must chop. |

[[s]quote author=KingAzubuike post=82832567] Lagos is an overhyped piece of garbage. Stay in your state of origin and do business there. You will flourish. Those doing business in Anambra and other eastern state can testify. Abokìs who haven't left Kano can testify too. [/quote][/s] No wonder your Eastern States IGR are lowest in the country |

Putting effort into a place that don't need it. Go and put mile 2 badgary express way in order than wasting resources on a road that don't need it. |

Can we really know the length of repairs they are carrying out?. Don't deceive us please, please.About 2-months ago,you people told us they are carrying out works at Mile12--Ketu, causing lots of traffic jam, only to get there two days thereafter, you see the magnitude of potholes right away, with heavy traffic again. What manner of people are we?Are we people without conscience? Even Bloggers are paid to report nonsense. Its a fluke in this state as we see things going down gradually, people celebrating foolishness without character!!. Are we aware that there some States in USA and even in Europe that there is rainfall almost every week of the year, yet some Officials will tell gullible Masses in Nigeria ' we would fix your roads immediately after raining season' lies, big lies, this same lies they have been feeding the public since decades ago.H ere in Nigeria, especially Lagos, there is no reason why we can't fix these roads all the time. Its corruption and political corruption for that matter.Lagos should set a good example for Nigeria and should not be crawling. We should make Lagos a model of a State that works considering the huge Revenue coming to it. 1 Like 1 Share |
