1. God might have forgiven Eve and then humans would have enjoyed perfection on earth forever. Adam was created way before Eve, so the instruction not to eat from the tree was more of a direct command to Adam than to Eve.

2. Eve would have been imperfect while Adam remained perfect, thus creating an imbalance in nature. God could have sent Eve out of the garden to die in her sin while he creates another perfect sinless woman for Adam to fulfill his purpose.

3. God could also decide to let things be, a perfect man with his imperfect wife. However, while the man lives forever, Eve suffers from the products of her sin and dies. Her offsprings are born with both perfect and imperfect tendencies. However, their actions in life determines whether they live forever like their forefather, or suffer from sin and die like their mother Eve.

The system was made in that way so Christ would come to earth. We should remember our lord is the alpha and omega. The beginning and the end, so he already knows what will be but calms down and watch you do it. Adam had no chance of not eating that fruit.. he had to and will still eat it if the world starts again. My opinion though...

The wages of sin is death.

If Adam refused to disobey a direct Commandment of God from then until now, he'd still be alive.

Even so, by God's Grace, God has provided a Way for sinners to repent and be forgiven, and to still live forever if they keep the Word of Jesus Christ, which by the way, still has the Commandment to "sin no more".

Adam remained obedient & Righteous. Jesus would not have been born. Mary would have replaced Eve in the beginning & for Righteousness sake.

"Emmanu nfagi nitori Adamu ti jeso e". meaning the journey of millions of years till now would not have been necessary if Adam had simply obeyed God's Instructions.

The fruit would have "eventuarry" be eaten, only if they had sit it out and managed the last hour it was eaten, then we would have had all knowledge at our finger tips and NOT be doing all these second guesses and groping blindly in the dark.
"And Jesus said to her,
Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come.

Adam became a victim of blind loyalty. I also think, Adam was a victim of an already terribly wrong chivalry, gone further pear-shaped wrong. Adam like Jesus in John 2:4 above did, should have just told the woman, Eve, that the hour has not come and then refuse to eat, just to sit the remaining last hour out.

He would have fully passed the test, but unfortunately he didnt and rest is history.

What would have happened to Adam, is that, he would have gone again, under the knife and give up another rib, from where he'll be given another woman
There however is a twist, as in other unexpected/expected development, to what would have happened to Adam if he had rejected Eve when she disobeyed

Interlocutors' comments are 24/7 being monitored

Had it been that Adam survived the last hour, what would have happened, was that he would have thereafter been allowed to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (i.e. ToKG&E) and men will not be näked but men will still be clothed in righteousness

Rejection of Eve and her offer would mean Death straight to Eve.

The Soul that sin must die. Adam was made Righteous in the beginning. Electrons flowed in him. But because he disobeyed God's Instructions, the Electrons in him changed to Blood and changed the make up of his Body. He sinned and must die. If he hadn't disobeyed the Instructions of God, he would still have remained a Righteous Son of God for all Righteousness Sake. Emmanuel would neither have necessarily come nor plan to come again.

Genesis 3:20

And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living

The human race (and creation itself) finally had a chance to not become extinct, hence the name Eve from Adam.

jesusjnr:
All good and nothing evil.

And this could be deduced from this saying of God to Adam because he didn't reject Eve:

"Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;" {Genesis 3:17 (KJV)}

So it would have been the exact opposite of this result had he rejected her and not listened to her voice, for instead he would have been rewarded for not falling into temptation.

And this also applies to his seed, as they would inherit his nature of obedience/righteousness, and also its rewards.

Moreover considering how God does His things, I believe part of the reward for his obedience would be the knowledge of good and evil, since he had already passed the test therefore God would reward him with it. Because then, he would not have acquired such knowledge via disobedience but by obedience.

God bless.
Adam would not have died/perished but had eternal life.

Genesis 2:16-17 (KJV)

16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Therefore Adam would still be very much alive and here with us today.

So how old would Adam be if he were still here today?

As old as the Earth.

Moreover Adam would still retain the authority he had over the God's creation.

So in a nut shell, Adam would retain everything he had prior to the temptation, plus the reward he would get for his obedience.

It's good you have something to offer for divine wisdom, but i'm sorry Sir we received it free and it's to be given FREE! Matthew 10:8 compared to Revelation 22:17

Answer!

God's focus is not on Eve {the last creature}, Adam is the man!
So if Adam refuses to eat of the fruit, God will not punish Eve because she's not the main person given the responsibility to oversee all other creatures (including the serpent).

Moreover the law to abstain from the forbidden fruit was primarily given to Adam who in turn passed it to Eve! So Adam was expected to say "NO! i've told you that fruit is forbidden", for him to have joined Eve means he wasn't loyal to God completely! Genesis 3:12

That's why the Bible clearly says "Through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin" Romans 5:12

Remember also the case of the faithful man Job, after he was asked to curse God and die by a woman (his wife), Job maintained his integrity to the end and what happened afterwards? When God returned Job to a better condition, that same woman continued to be Job's wife to enjoy everything again!

That's why angels are particular about headship during worship {1Corinthians 11:10} women must not lead men during worship, though they may participate due to their intelligence but when it comes to those who should take the lead in worship, women must remain SILENT in the presence of man! 1Timothy 2:12
Whatever is going on within the congregation of God, women were admonished to asked their husbands when the get home! 1Corinthians 14:35

So God is not focusing on Eve {the female creature made to complement man) but on Adam (God's son)! Luke 3:38

God bless you! smiley[/quote]
