1500-Year-Old Bible Discovered States That Jesus Was Not Crucified

Summary

According to the 1500 year old bible:
(1) Instead of Jesus, Judas was the one crucified and Jesus rose to heaven while he was still alive.

(2) Another very important and different aspect is that the book does not present Jesus as the son of God, but only as a prophet who spoke the word of God.

(3) The bible also calls Apostle Paul an imposter

(4) The bible also informed of the coming of Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

This 1500-Year-Old Bible valued at $28 million States That Jesus Was Not Crucified. The Bible was found in Turkey in 2000 written in a language that was mostly spoken 2000 years ago.

A bible Linked to the Gospel of Barnabas held by the Turkish government at Ankara. A book written by Saint Barnabas, one of Paul’s associates. The book was discovered when some antiquity thieves had been caught in 2000 trying to smuggle the bible and other artifacts worth millions. The book is valued at $28 million and it seems to have references to the Gospel of Barnabas from the bible. The book is handwritten in Syriac an Aramic dialect which also happens to be Jesus’ native language.

What happened to Jesus?

Experts who have analyzed the book consider that it is at least 1500 years old, but it could be even older.

Within this book, the story takes a very different approach.

Instead of Jesus, Judas was the one crucified and Jesus rose to heaven while he was still alive. Another very important and different aspect is that the book does not present Jesus as the son of God, but only as a prophet who spoke the word of God. Other areas of the book give a clear prophesy on the coming of Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

The book also calls Apostle Paul an imposter which makes things really interesting as Saint Barnabas (the believed author of this book) was an associate of Apostle Paul. Would this mean that Saint Barnabas was forced by Apostle Paul to write a different story about Jesus? It is difficult to know, but this is an interesting aspect that sort of puts Christianity in a good light from biblical events, but other religions are overlooked, such as Islam.

If Jesus did indeed rise to heaven alive, then in the eyes of some people it would make much more sense based on belief. This would also conclude with some of the codexes written around the same time that mention Jesus coming back on Earth for a millennium to bring peace upon our world and eradicate any evil human beings.

Is the book real or fake?

When the new testament was written, the council from Nicaea (known as the first council in the history of the Christian church) chose the information that would go in this bible. They deliberately left out anything that has been mentioned in the Gospel of Barnabas as well as other gospels in favor of more canonical texts.

Why is it that only a group of people are able to choose what is considered “the right and true texts”? Some say that the council had a reason behind not choosing the Gospel of Saint Barnabas and it may have something to do with the missing information about Saint Barnabas’ death. There is no information about Saint Barnabas’ death, making him the only Saint that does not have his death mentioned within the scripture.

Even the Vatican caught a big interest in this aspect of biblical events, so much that he requested to see the book, but the Turkish government had refused his request without giving a reason. All of the experts that have been allowed to analyze the book state that the bible is an original and definitely not as many people have mentioned “a hoax”. Besides the rarity of finding someone nowadays not only understanding but being able to write in Syriac, the way the book is made is very traditional to those times. All of the pages are made from animal hide and the handwriting is very difficult to replicate.

Let’s not forget that the archives at the Vatican Apostolic Library aren’t public and even for those that become scholars, they have to be over the age of 75 to gain access.
I think there is a lot more to this world and a lot of information from the biblical era is hidden away and kept secret, for what exact reason I don’t know, but usually the truth would provoke a huge negative effect.

The Gospels are even full of historical problems. Even if one discounts the utter lack of contemporary evidence for Jesus or any of his supposed miracles, there are other issues. The census NEVER required anyone to go to town of origin of their lineage- that would have collapsed the economy of the Empire. Roman censuses counted just the head of household IN their household- they were for tax purposes, so they cared where you lived, not where you came from. They were also done by province, not empire-wide, and usually subcontracted to the publicans. Further, Matthew states that Jesus was born under the reign of Herod the Great, who died in 4BCE. Luke claims it was during the census of Israel conducted when Quirinius was governor of Syria- a post he did not take until 6CE, 10 YEARS after Herod the Great died. So both Matthew and Luke contradict themselves- the census literally could not have occurred at the same time as Herod was alive, yet both describe them as simultaneous. Luke also says that Augustus Caesar decreed "all the world should be registered", which is false.

Herod the Great never slaughtered infants as described in Matthew- despite there being many chroniclers of Herod's abuses, this little gem appears NOWHERE but the bible. Even Flavius Josephus, who extensively recorded Herod's evils, mentioned nothing of this event, which he would have if it actually occurred.

There were many minor errors showing the Gospel writers (Greeks, for the most part) had no clue of the geography of the area- like the story of the Gadarine swine, which Jesus supposedly drove into the Sea of Galilee, despite Gadera being kilometers from the sea. And that's just Matthew, since Mark's said "Gerasa", which was 30 kilometers away. Mark's descriptions of Jesus' movements made no geographical sense and are at times impossible.

No historians of the time, despite living in the area, ever recorded any major earthquakes or skies going black as was claimed happened during Jesus' death.

Interestingly, early scholars that even mentioned what early Christians believed- like Tacitus, Philo, Pliny, Suetonius, Epictectus, Cluvius Rufus, Quintus, Curtis Rufus, Josephus, the Roman Consul, Publius Petronius- never mentioned any crucifixion. In fact, the crucifixion seemed to be unknown even to early Christians until the Second Century!

The trials would never have occurred as claimed in the bible, either. Rather hilariously, a nineteenth century scholar, Rabbi Wise, searched the then-extant records of Pilate's court to find a record of Jesus' trial and found nothing. Pilate was depicted by the Gospels as a good man who only reluctantly agreed to the condemnation of Jesus- but history shows he was cruel and corrupt. It was a likely attempt after the First Jewish revolt to place blame on the Jews, rather than the old tradition of blaming Rome for all their ills. The Romans also had no custom of releasing a prisoner at Passover, and Pilate was known to be far too ruthless to have ever caved to a mob (in fact, there are many records of him brutally subduing mobs). Never mind that it was claimed in the Passion narrative that the Sanhedrin met on Passover night to have Jesus arrested and condemned- when in reality the Sanhedrin were forbidden by Jewish law to meet during Passover at all.

How about Paul did he walk directly with Jesus?

Hmmm is like the more we tried to acquire more knowledge the more we get confused .

Now I want to ask you.
What is the evident the 56 books of the bible are the complete books 27 from new and 39 from the Old Testament ?

The bible is more than that numbers, so who and why did they made those selection?

Now back to this said book of Barnabas it has been debunked several years and time only for y'all to bring it to nairaland like it's a new discovery. Liar like you even claim that crucifixion was unknown to early Christians until the second century, lmao. No amount of repetition will turn truth on its head like you wish to do. The Bible especially the gospel has gone through every textual and historical criticism and is still standing today. Let your Quran go through history, let the SIRA go through historical and textual cristicism and see if it can stand.

First of all 27 + 39 is not 56 grin
It's 66 books.
Now to the topic, the Bible is not a single book treating it as such is what has been confusing many of you cheesy
It is a book of books. Many books brought together and that's why it is called Bible from the word BIBLIA a Greek word meaning books or simply a book containing books.
Nobody remove any book from the Bible, those that were not part of the Bible today are found to be either forgery or non or what is called apocryphal. Examples are, the gospel of barnabas, book of Enoch, Maccabees etc
Take note, nobody remove from the Bible, there were many scrolls that were put together to make up what we have today as the Bible

Jesus walked this planet for just one reason: the redemption of obedient mankind sold to Adamic sin! Romans 5:12 compare to 6:23
Satan tried to delete Jesus from history {Act 4:18; 5:28} but his faithful disciples fought back and made sure that later generations can read about Jesus and the sacrifice he made in our behalf! Act 4:19-20; 5:29-32

But what exactly is the problem with this generation?

Well it's their faithlessness!
Jesus foretold a time when everything he taught his disciples will become effective in lives of some imperfect humans globally {Matthew 5:13-16} but when the fulfilment of Jesus' prophecies regarding the endtime and how his group will be restructured began many failed to take note instead they're busy arguing blindly on the letters that they can't decipher! 2Corinthians 3:6

Who can doubt the reality of Jesus' sacrificial death while seeing how imperfect humans have come together from different races throughout the earth and vowed to continue obeying everything Jesus commanded as one big and happy family of peace loving worshipers globally? Isaiah 2:2-4

In fact it's the sacrifice Jesus offered that made it possible for millions of imperfection humans across the globe today to have the same line of thought on morals and standards! John 17:22

While others are busy killing one another because they failed to agree on morals and standards! Revelations 6:3-4 smiley

The extant manuscripts of the book Antiquities of the Jews, written by the first-century Jewish historian Flavius Josephus around 93–94 AD, contain two references to Jesus of Nazareth and one reference to John the Baptist.

First of all, there are no anonymous copies of the four gospels. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Every single shred of manuscript evidence we have attributes them to the traditional authors. While there is a slight variation in how they’re titled, the familiar names are all there. These go back to the most ancient copies that we possess in our hands right now. There’s no historical evidence that the originals had no titles.
The biggest problem with the anonymous gospel theory is it lacks plausibility. Consider this scenario:
You have a book floating around the Roman Empire without a title for nearly a century. But somehow, at some time, it ends up being associated with the same author repeatedly — in fact, every single time. We have 0 traces of disagreement.
And this didn’t just happen once — it happened four different times, throughout the vast Roman Empire. Somehow, by sheer luck, Christians living in Africa, Rome, Syria, and so forth attributed these gospels to the same four guys. All this without the help of email, text, social media, or Google.
If the anonymous gospel theory were correct, we’d expect to see at least some disagreement over who wrote what. But we have no contradictory titles. We don’t have a ‘Gospel According to Mark’ attributed to someone like Peter, Andrew, Simon the Zealot, Bartholemew, or whomever.

Check out the picture of the different manuscripts attached.

1500-Year-Old Bible Discovered States That Jesus Was Not Crucified

This 1500-Year-Old Bible valued at $28 million States That Jesus Was Not Crucified. The Bible was found in Turkey in 2000 written in a language that was mostly spoken 2000 years ago

Liar!
The book has been kept since by Turkey
Even the Vatican requested to see the book to be able to study it, a request that is yet to be granted. What is nairaland turning to these days? You guys will just go and copy one nonsense blogpost and twist truth on it head?

“…the book contains the Gospel of Barnabas…” Again, maybe. But possibly not. We actually don’t know what the book contains because it has not been widely studied. The Christian Post quotes theology professor Ömer Faruk Harman who notes that people may be “disappointed to see that this copy … might have no relation with the content of the Gospel of Barnabas.” “…which shows that Jesus was not crucified … and that Judas Iscariot was crucified in His place.” The Gospel of Barnabas does indeed purport that Judas Iscariot was crucified in Jesus’ place. But this is because this Gospel was written as an apologetic for Islam. Indeed, it
prophesies the arrival of Muhammad, but, if the 15th century dating of this Gospel is correct, it does so about 800 years after Muhammad! In other words, its prophecies are really no prophecies at all, but polemical forgeries.
It is believed that, during the Council of Nicaea, the Catholic Church hand-picked the Gospels that form the Bible as we know it today; omitting the Gospel of Barnabas (among many others) in favor of the four canonical Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

Ever since Dan Brown’s book The Da Vinci Code, this has been a canard that just won’t die. At no time during the Council of Nicaea did the Catholic Church hand-pick any Gospels. The four Gospels we have today were already widely accepted by the Church by the time of this council. If you want to read the canons issued by the Council of Nicaea for yourself, you can check them out here. None say anything about the Gospels. Indeed, none say anything about the canon of Scripture at all.

Ultimately, even if this Turkish Bible is indeed 1,500 years old and even if it does contain the Gospel of Barnabas, the Council of Nicaea was held in AD 325, which is still before the time of this Bible. Thus, part of the reason the Council of Nicaea never considered the Gospel of Barnabas during its meetings is because there was not yet a Gospel of Barnabas to consider!

It was David Hannum, criticizing P.T. Barnum, who said, “There’s a sucker born every minute.” Don’t be suckered by this Facebook article. The Bible as we have it still stands. And on it, your faith can still stand.

Am I surprised at the degree of your shallow reasoning?

Likes and shares your fellow alcoholics and antichrists gave you are now your proof I was lying about Jesus not turning water into alcoholic wine that you have to provide the link here.

Well i'm not that shallow, so I won't have to do likewise with mine, because I know that the Truth like the fact that Jesus turned water into non-alcoholic wine, doesn't need likes and shares to be true, it is the Truth regardless! And no matter how many likes and shares lies receive, as that which you told about Jesus on the said thread, it would never make it true.

You should be more worried about your paedophile and murderous prophet who lived by the sword and died by the sword embarrassingly in the hand of one of the victims of his blood-letting exploits, who poisoned his food.

I wouldn't be surprised if you are following in his footsteps, and have not learnt from his own disgraceful experience.

Continue with the lies of your father the devil who is the father of all liars, it would never becomes the Truth regardless of how many likes and shares your malicious lies receive.

John 8:44 (KJV)

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

I didn't even need to respond to your lies here, because many here have already done justice to that and exposed your blatant falsehood beyond any reasonable doubt.

What are the Major Historical Errors in the Bible (Quora) by Sarah Geer
.......

Another Bart Erman disciple sighted grin
