First of, you need to check your sentences before hitting send.
And secondly Government has no right to shut it down.
And Thirdly shutting it down won't bring positive impact to Nigeria.

If the Government wants a program that exhibit good morals, they should set aside money to start their own show biz. Cos Obviously a show with good morals won't sell in Nigeria. We have a lot of good programs on DSTV, Gotv and youtube to view from
And who told you that programs with good morals won't sell in Nigeria? just listen to yous self. You forgot that if such program is aimed at promoting young scientific and artistic minds, it would put our nation in the world map for good whilst encouraging the economy in general.

walia Bubu can never abolish BBN especially with the sex role it generates to Nigeria Economy.
Bubu will use that one to learn how the other room stuff works.

Am not a big fan of BBN, infact i don't watch it but if for any reason senate try to close down BBN, then they should also close down all betting company like bet9ja because this things are killing the youth.

Will the programs with good morals attracts 250 million votes?
Will the programs with good morals attract tons of sponsors paying hundreds of millions of naira?
Will the programs with good morals thread attract over 6500 pages on nairaland, whereby making millions of naira for seen?

Capitalist economy thrives on demand and supply. programs with good morals will not make profit for the investor.

I've asked myself whole lot of questions concerning this!

Of what gain is BBNaija to our youths?
Is it the romantic scene you learn from?
The vile and erotic speeches?

Seriously, unemployment is a disease...cos its the root..
Only lazy youths clamour to watch it..

Banning it would be the only good thing i know this government has achieved...

In as much as I am not a fan of Big Brother show due to its poor educational value and high immorality content, I am CONFUSED about this call for its abolition coming from Civil Liberties Organization.

If you ponder over the two words 'Civil Liberties', you will appreciate my CONFUSION. Ordinarily organizations like CAN and MURIC should be calling for abolition of BB show while organizations like CLO would be opposing on ground that every Nigerian is at liberty to do any lawful business including reality shows.

Confusion everywhere!

Spot on.

Only 3 millionaires? What of the endorsements most of the housemates will get? What of the Millions Seun and other bloggers will make from BBnaija related stories.

What of all the contractors that were employed to build the studios, stage and the house itself.

What of the Millions earned by over 50 production staff of the show?

What of the Millions paid as appearance fees to musicians, DJs, and celebrities invited to the show?

What of the Millions paid to Ebuka as host of the show.

BBnaija is an economy of its own.

You know this and have not started your own show?

Let those who want to organize BBN organize it, that doesn't stop you from doing your own show.

No useless government will shut down a 90-days program that numbs her citizens and distract them from the incompetence of those at the helm of affairs.

BBN is a blessing to the FGN.

Yes a ridiculous redistribution of wealth where poor Nigerians give to a few and a South African European company who jets away with profits.

Where is the actual benefit to the donor's , yet when they are asked to pay vat, taxes , tolls they say no.

And so it should be encouraged right, even when the content is not enriching? We are fast loosing it. Will stopping the show give the girl the encouragement she needs. That's the question you should ask yourself. I am not a fan of BBN but that doesn't mean the show should be banned . They are operating within the confines of the law. To think the statement came from a Civil Liberty Group. Do the really know the meaning of Civil Liberty.. BBN is entertainment and should be treated as such..It is the responsibility of the government to give academic scholarships and not Multi Choice..We should endeavour to reason with reason ..

Concern Youth hereby ask the government to ban potholes on our roads. The Senate should pass a law that permit corrupt politicians that loot our treasury to be stoned to death

Tell me more about after effects. A man sleeps with his neighbours wife, yet is quick to condemn BBN . Content means differrent things to different people. This is not the Middle East. This is Nigeria. You sound like saints live in the middle East. The last I checked Osama is from the Middle East...

Though I'm not a fan of BBN, I believe millions of Nigerians and people from other countries like it. So what's their stress?

You should be weeping for the potholes on the streets of Nigeria. You should be weeping at a government that doesn't promote excellence. I am not a fan of BBN and at such I didn't watch. You watched severally and now think it should be banned. It is because you watched that's why it will definitely be aired next year. The air it because of viewer rating and you certainly a viewer. So stop the hypocisy. Nigeria has a billion problems, BBN is not and will never be one of them.
