Im not happy with this development, i am rather disappointed that people of this same market have refused to learn from past mistakes , if they have a private owned fire fighting company close by the market the damage of the fire wont be much, it shows that people in that market are non cooperative , if they cant at least have a fire fighting company , why cant they tell the governor to build a station there just for the market? People continue to run into debts or loss wealth for nothing, no common sense. as a matter of fact the fire fighting station should be a general project for all big and crowded markets, marketers should protest for that, enough is enough. |

omale88:Onitsha lacks planning. Developers there are too greedy and don't follow the building code. They build houses too close to each other and this makes a fire outbreak to spread quicker. Go to Owerri and see how a city layout should look like. |

Owerri is a village. 2/3rd of Imolites are resident in Onitsha. Owerri is filled with shanties and slum. Stop deceiving yourself. Again Onitsha is the most planned city in SE. Use your Google earth. Below is Owerri [s] Cyberterror:[/s]

Owerri is the least developed in SE. OWERRI and ABA are now at the same level of development in filth and bad roads. Below pictures are the present condition of Owerri, one would think it is Aba but this Owerri. [s] Cyberterror:[/s]
